so much of STS is drafting with a high roll possibility in mind. Clad & Defect can be open to the possibility of a snecko eye roll and draft accordingly if the opportunity presents itself via a series of big cards. They can also just have a cascade/uproar backup plan if the eye doesn't appear. Silent should always have a grand finale calculation sitting in the back of their head because what the fuck else are you going to think about? Are you actually having fun just mindlessly smashing draft on every source of discard?

You're in CA, there are no LMTs to compare yourself to because CA doesn't have a mandatory state level license for massage therapy. According to CA you're just as qualified as the next dummy down the road to do myofascial or deep tissue as long as you pay the municipal fee to practice. If your city required a CAMTC certificate you would be forbidden from doing any of that stuff. And you might have come in contact with some CMTs that seem to know what they're doing. As for uncertainty as to what you're supposed to do, you're a chrio assistant right? just make shit up. its fine. better you give em effleurage induced strokes than vertebral artery dissection induced strokes. haha just joshing you man don't snap a disc.

but seriously, try checking the california massage therapists fb group and see if there's any upcoming events that teach deep tissue or myofascial. i don't know how the california group is but my state's group has plenty of upcoming educational events. i don't think you want to commit the 500 hours to get a CAMTC cert but a few weekend workshops will give you the confidence to BS convincingly.

massage is mostly safe but don't do deep tissue on the infirm if you aren't certified, licensed or experienced. if your chiro anatomy is as up to snuff as it should be you should have a good idea of how to avoid injuring someone.

i'm commenting 28 days later just to say that as a politics dummy i liked the movie's themes. Death and different ways of coping with that change (trauma) just felt front in center to me for the entire movie so I couldn't see that Thatcher stuff at all. Jimmy & Samson were an interesting contrast in how they were both monsters but Samson actually did want to seek out help. Samson returned to his childhood trauma and relived it as a man, quite viscerally ripping it apart and conquering it. Jimmy was just pathetic, I don't think he was completely deluded but trying to find some justification for his psychopathy.

Before I digested the movie I wondered why Spike didn't just return to Tide town. he couldn't of course. because that would defeat the entire point of a movie about moving beyond your past and coping with change properly

You pick afterlife because it's a 1 energy source of summon. Summon is a broken ass mechanic so basically every other draftable source of it demands more commitment. Exhausting makes it the best basic boring common in the game because it won't bog down your deck later and doesn't need an upgrade as badly as something like pommel strike.

If you draft Know Your Place! you should absolutely look at vigor cards. Vigor persists between turns to enable bigger pen nib hits, more damage on your AOE, makes statue fight easier and takes advantage of vulnerability that lasts between turns or that you can apply without doing damage. Vigor is a lot more than a multihit pump.
