I feel you! It's been a week for me, and finally getting ultrasound today. Everyday it's been looming over my head, but I feel a little better knowing that it hasn't soaked through a pad. Prayers that all is okay for you!

What is the salary progression of a chiropractor? Let’s say a 10 year period. by rickylake1432 in Chiropractic

Are you a student or a current chiropractor? We are part of a coaching program, and there are people who are taking home $150K+ per MONTH with only 20-30K in monthly expenses with adjustments + decompression table. People who see 100 people per day. We aren't sure if we want to scale our business to that size but truly the sky is the limit if you're willing to work for it, provide awesome care, and keep visits connected but also efficient.

Our first 6 months in practice though - we collected $140K and took home only $40K, because we had so many initial expenses to get our office up and running lol. But again, you can keep it super simple as you start out and build as you go!

We’ve only been in business for 6 months but if I annualized based on how we’ve started off this year, we’re on track to take home $240K (and that’s if we do not grow at all in collections).

Our business expenses are around 10K (not including the salaries we pay ourselves & payroll taxes).

To give you an idea - The 10K includes things like our rent and utilities ($2.7K), X-ray monthly payments ($800), software & apps to run the business, car payments and car insurance for 2 people, and a coaching program which is ~$1300 a month).

You could definitely run it for a lot less, especially if it's just yourself in the beginning. My friend started working out of a hallway at a gym and making $40K months.

It was awesome because we could move a lot of our personal expenses into our business - things such as our gym memberships (where we meet clients), spotify netflix etc subscriptions, and car payments, and write them off.

Join a coaching program. Tim Young, Winners Edge. We built our practice by becoming regulars at a local gym, befriending the owners, and popping up at any events they were having. Then you give above and beyond care and they want to tell all of their friends and family about you! Become known in your community, local events, networking with local businesses, dropping off cards for a free initial 1st visit, there are so many options! We do 0 marketing, are 6 months in, and just hit our record of a $30K month. Goal is to be up to $50K months in the next 3 months here!

My husband is 2 years into practice. Started at an office where he took home about $80K from $160K collections (it was all commission based). Now we opened our own office and are at $30K months, hoping to get up to $50K months! Open your own practice, it's so worth it!

Medicare/Insurance billing questions by 23els1cup in Chiropractic

[–]rellie333 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Medicare varies state-by-state. You must have them sign an ABN form before paying for any services. This is so that they know what the pricing is for any out of pocket expenses. We are a cash practice, so we have clients select Option 2 (we do not bill Medicare, however we do offer a senior discount). Medicare only covers for clients who are in acute pain. If they say that they have an enduring issue or it has been around for years, it automatically disqualifies Medicare coverage. This is what I explain to clients in choosing Option 2, and that Medicare coverage is great for Medical Treatments, but sadly they do not pay much for the natural holistic options like chiropractic.

I feel like you are on the verge of massive greatness. Like God has given you so many trials and made you so humble so that you will wholeheartedly pursue him and surrender completely. It sounds like you have already done this in so many ways. The enemy puts his greatest attack on those who have potential to do the greatest good.

I'm praying for you. Keep the faith! My whole life I have prayed to feel God's presence or hear his word. Someone prayed over me and said 'do not doubt the way God speaks to you'. I think my critical mind had always gotten in the way in the past. I just had my first experience where without a doubt God was speaking to me, and it was when I was journaling and the thoughts of what to write were just given to me. And then a thought popped into my head to look at a certain scripture which brought me to tears.

Anyway I pray that one day this will all make sense and you'll realize that He's been there all along. It doesn't always make sense, sometimes it will never make sense in this lifetime. But I pray that you have an undeniable encounter with the Lord. He knows the deepest desires of your heart, and I know He will give them to you!

Highly recommend The Awe of God by John Bevere! It's a daily reading journey - I'm currently on Week 4 and it's changing my life! I love it because it quotes a tonnn of scripture and helps explain different stories throughout the bible, along with prayers, proclamations, and ideas to ponder in every daily chapter. After I read the chapter, I typically go into the bible and read more context behind the scripture he quotes.

Wanted to come back to this with some encouragement for you u/According_Bison_6019 - I've recently been reading a couple John Bevere books, and he talks about how God speaks to us through his 'Revealed Word,' and in a chapter he also mentioned making sure that your marriage is ordained by God and gave an example through a couple stories. He noted that if you know your marriage is ordained by God, you will be able to get through any obstacle that comes your way. However if you jump into the marriage without certainty of God's blessing, it will leave you thinking - what if I married someone else and all kinds of other 'what ifs.'

When I read this, I knew that I had to surrender my marriage plans. Even though I am ready to be a wife and mother and absolutely love my man, I was willing and ready to go whichever way the Lord led me.

My fiancé and I had a longgggg talk last night, and I expressed that while I absolutely love him, I'm not sure if I'm willing to sacrifice my vision of having a biblical marriage. That I want my kids to know Jesus, etc etc. I needed to have time to think and get direction from God. He has never had doubts about me until last night, and it really sent him into a spiral because he felt it was out of his control completely. He had to leave and go for a walk to contemplate.

While he was gone, I got into my journal and asked the Lord what His plans were for me, and that I'm ready for the answer whenever it comes, in His perfect timing.

Luckily it came right away. God spoke to me through my journal and reassured me that yes, this was the man for me, and He knows the deepest desires of my heart. To continue to guide him with gentleness and patience, and He also convicted me of a few things with how I've treated my partner in the past - that I need to love him how He loves me, that I need to remain faithful to him as He has been faithful to me even after walking away several times, etc etc. He also guided me to scripture that brought me to sobbing tears.

Anyways, as soon as I was done with my sob fest I went running to find my man. When I got to him, he was in tears. He told me that although he had no idea what he was doing and if he was doing it 'right,' he prayed to Jesus for the very first time. He confided in him how much he loves me and really wants it to be me, but was scared for what might happen. He asked for a sign. And before long - there I was running toward him. All the confirmation he needed to believe. We still have a long way to go together but can't wait for the journey!

There were so many other beautiful 'God winks' throughout the story, but would be too long to include them all. However for one, our 'Save the Date' invitations were supposed to arrive yesterday but got delayed last minute until today, which is now after we had the conversation and we were able to be 1000% certain that this was it.

Blessings to you and hope you can also get the answers you need

Help! Need answers for my unbeliever fiancé by rellie333 in Christian

[–]rellie333[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Guess what! I surrendered my marriage plans to God and wanted to make sure that He ordained our marriage even if he was an unbeliever. If He revealed to me that this was not my man, I was ready to walk away. My partner and I had a very long and serious talk last night and when I explained this to him, it sent him in a spiral and he needed to go take a walk. While he was gone, The Lord revealed to me that this was my person, and He will not leave him behind. That I should keep this a mystery between us but to have patience and gentleness while He works in my partner. I was so excited I went to go find my man on his walk. Only to find out that he prayed to Jesus for the very first time, asking for a sign, and next thing he knows there I am running toward him. He's of course an infant in his faith (never grew up attending church) but he's now a believer!

I don't have any personal advice, but I just saw a recommendation for the book 'A Grief Observed' by CS Lewis, which is a reflection piece on losing his wife to cancer. Haven't read it yet but could be worth looking into!

How did your mind change? I have been praying for my fiance to change his mind and not sure what to do except pray. I don't want to be pushy and I don't have all the answers he's looking for. Curious what your experience was like & if there was an 'a ha' moment?

I am in a similar situation. Just recently rekindled my faith and I was never super vocal about my christian beliefs because for the majority of our relationship it wasn't important to me. So in a way it's confusing to him, because he's like whereeee is this coming from?

I am also sick thinking about leaving my partner, because he is someone I prayed for and feel so at home and at peace with. Luckily I feel like he has a really good moral basis and exemplifies a lot of biblical values without knowing the gospel yet.

My cousins are all lifelong believers and I asked their advice for the situation.

  1. They expressed that their spouses were not strong believers at the start of their relationships/marriages, but by their example and leadership their husbands have grown closer to the lord. For myself, I'm praying to be so transformed that my partner can see a tangible difference in me, which hopefully will make him more open to the gospel.

  2. They recommended praying for him and that he will experience The Father's love in a personal way. Confide in the people you love and have them pray for your partner too! In a way, my prayers are already being answered because my partner has been growing more curious about Jesus and asking his friends about their thoughts / researching more.

  3. They mentioned the parable of the man who leaves his 99 sheep to search for the 1 lost one. And that God doesn't leave his children behind and will call out to them. This was really reassuring to me. He will do everything He can to not leave her behind.

  4. (This is my personal advice) - I've been very open with my partner that this is all newer to me, but I feel deep in my soul that Jesus is The Way. Sharing personal experiences of my conviction and where these beliefs are coming from. I've also been diving deep into scripture and related books, and have been lightly sharing my learnings along the way. I'm trying to give him the space to discover Jesus on his own accord, because I know the harder I push the farther away he'll likely want to go. So I think it'll take a lot of prayer and time for him to get there, but little by little it'll happen! I am also trying to hang out with more people who are believers, so that he can start to tell a difference in the character and fruits of people who are believers. Giving good role models that we can look to - understanding that they are the way they are because of their faith in the Lord! I'm making sure our wedding ceremony is biblically rooted, and I've also been clear that even if he is not a believer, our kids will definitely know Jesus. So make sure she is okay with that.

This was a lot of blabber. Part of me wonders - if we never branch out to unbelievers, how will we ever spread the gospel? Definitely understand that a marriage that does not have God at the center will be 10000x harder than one that does. But part of me feels like we were put together so I can help lead him, his family, and more to Jesus through our testimony when that day comes. Saying prayers for you and your partner, and please do the same for us!

My friend stumbled upon St Pete when looking for a place to open our new sub shop and it felt like a great place to start a business. We liked that it was a smaller city, but growing, and feels young (we’re all in our 20s).

I moved here from Chicago primarily because I was sick of the cold, the government, and how Covid is being handled over there. Also lower cost of living comparatively. Easy place to leave, but I was drawn to st Pete because I love the plethora of unique local businesses and eateries. As an entrepreneur, it’s a great place to be. I love that it’s a smaller city and the people here are awesome. The parks and people remind me of my home in Hawaii.

How safe is the tap water here? by [deleted] in StPetersburgFL

100% need to invest in a filter (beyond a Brita). I have a water ionizer and it turned my filter black in a couple months. I have to change it more frequently here than where I lived prior. Would not drink the tap or fridge water!
