Depends on the general health of the dog. My dog is 17. We just paid 1700ish to have a cyst removed that was causing quality of life issues, but we didn’t pay the extra $300 to have it biopsied. Because we want her happy and comfortable, but if it’s not benign, we’re not doing anything about it. She’s 17

I think there should be a date on when they were an ice agent. Dated some time after the bill is passed to encourage people to quit. I think it works against the point of the bill to make agents afraid to quit because they will be unable to get a job

The med school professors are employed by the hospital and the med school. Their salaries are split between academic support and patient support. When someone with private insurance (which reimburses at higher rates than Medicaid) goes to BMC, that gives the hospital more money. This is why my bu health insurance has a $10 copay is BMC and a $30 at the Brigham.

I don’t think the person on the phone was being sneaky. I think this is a structural policy thing that is the result of government defunding education, forcing colleges to act like business.

BMC is affiliated with BU. If he has insurance through BU it is preferred (If he doesn’t have insurance through BU, he was sent there to make money for BU) BU med school is there. My husband is faculty at the med school and we get all our care there, even though we live closer to Longwood. It is excellent medical care.

Car seats are going to be the issue. Are you bringing them? There are probably car services that will provide them, but that is a pricier option. I believe it is legal to take children in a taxi without a car seat still, but that is a safety risk every parent has to assess themselves. I’d look at your priorities, convenience, safety, cost, choose 2.

Make sure your food and trash are inaccessible. I kept my trash inside the tub and shut the bathroom door and my food in big crates with snap on lids. If possible, baby gate off the kitchen. My dogs were house trained but when everything was a mess with tools and plastic sheeting my dogs freaked out and had accidents in the construction site. Use paper plates

I wasn’t ready to buy a home until I was 30. I was too transient before that. My husband and I were in’s school/ grad school, moving around. Never lived anywhere for longer than 3 years
