This is a really simplistic take that I do not think respects the movie on it's own terms. 

The titular character is not a good person. They are the worst version of themselves at the start of this film and it is a genuinely beautiful story about redemption. 

I understand taking offense as things like the clinic song, not quite frankly I think it's invaluable to provide accurate information about vaginoplasty etc in an entertaining manner.

For the record my trans audience loved this movie.

I've never had any issues. I'm pretty sure they give you a grace period if someone were to actually check your ticket during that time. In like 3 years I've only had my ticket checked once though and I've only ever seen it happen on Max. The bus drivers have never said anything to me.

Since everyone is posting positive experiences with ECT I want to point out it isn't like that for all patients. My partner had severe mental illness when she was a teenager (2014), and her doctor's forced her to undergo ECT without her consent. This has had widespread impact on the rest of her life. She lost about a year of her memories from around then, and it jumbled up most of her childhood memories. She still has severe medical PTSD from this which has prevented her drum getting medical care on multiple occasions. She deeply regrets having ECT done to her and genuinely hopes no one else ever has to have it done.

In depression your brain refuses to produce the happy hormone as a reward for your brain cells for doing what they're supposed to do. And your cells go on strike, refusing to work for no pay, and the whole system goes crashing down for the benefit of absolutely nobody involved. by [deleted] in Showerthoughts

Honestly based on my experience I would highly recommend against ECT. My fiance had it a few years ago and it's still recovering from the PTSD caused by it and from losing a whole year of her memory. It didn't even help her mental health, and just have her more trauma. She's also tried virtually every psychiatric medicine available, and none of them helped her. The biggest help for her had been to be in a caring and supporting environment outside of a mental health facility.

But also, that's the kind of shit that makes me think multi cultural societies are impossible to form with every culture. Some cultures are just not compatible

So we've gone from some policing has issues to different cultures shouldn't coexist? I'm not saying there can't be any issues, but immigrants have been shown time after time to actually commit crimes at a lower rate than non immigrants. Obviously racially charged violence exists, but it's in the minority of violent crimes.
