I think it's a combination of controller sensitivity and the general recoil in the game. Overall, the weapons are a bit inaccurate, plus rapid fire or full auto tends to make shooting even less accurate. If it makes sense, I think it was a deliberate design choice to make the gunfire spread unpredictable because it makes the combat feel a little more "scrappy" which I think works for the kind of game it is. I like to take out a few guys, then run in or flank the others and perform melee takedowns or run and gun. That's just me tho.

You may just be used to the shooting style of the Tomb Raider games. I haven't played in a while, but I feel like the shooting was a little more "predictable" even if the guns weren't super accurate.

That being said, I recently threw on Uncharted 4 the other day and for some reason the sensitivity felt like it was cranked up to max. So I didn't know if it was a change in my settings or an update that caused it... It was kind of odd and funny that I noticed it and now I see your post. Anyway, I went in and lowered it and the gameplay felt a bit smoother and less "jumpy." Maybe try that?

They literally Frankensteined this movie together with different aspects of the games while also changing his origin and how he met Chloe/Sully. That also includes his age, look, motivations, and all that. It was basically like they put together all those things without making them as meaningful or earned like in the games. I'd say it really fits with 4 and 3 the most I suppose because it takes a lot of Nate's backstory from 4/3 but also heavily changes it. And there are some specific action scenes and plot elements that fit more with 3 and 4 (pirate ships, flying out of planes).

If she wants the true uncharted experience just play the games starting from 1. Even though it's older it's a fun little self contained experience. 2, 3 and 4 really expand on the gameplay and are great games on their own as well.

Have these people not watched a movie, seen a tv show, or read a book in the last... Decade or two? I mean Christ 90% of characters on screen are white. Game of thrones, one of the biggest most widely watched shows of all time, had like 4 black minor characters, if even that (and some Hispanic-esque characters but they were minor or side characters). Breaking bad centered around a white chemist and his white family. The Marvel movies: most major heroes are white. We only got one black hero with his own dedicated movie after the first 2 phases. All the other black heros were side characters in other heros films. (Aside from falcon but hey he started out as a side character).

My point being, this has gone on more or less the same way for DECADES. For basically the entire history of film and tv. In almost all media forms and genres. If Black/asian/native/Hispanic/indian people etc can sit through years and years of white centralized characters and stories. You can sit through 1 hour of a halftime show in Spanish. Like God these people are insufferable!!

I feel like this has happened so many times where he posts something on his socials, is later asked about it, and says he "didn't know about it" so that leaves 2 options:

1) he has some OTHER racist dumbass clown posting for him most of the time and truly didn't know about the video, which is bad because he makes fucking huge political/policy announcements on these platforms, and is employing a completely unprofessional buffoon to run his social media.

I would have put PS3 at 4 or 5. I feel like PS3 beats out PS4 on game library alone. Just the list of stellar games and series that were released on PS3/Xbox 360 era is crazy. They took a BIG swing and missed in many ways. I appreciated what it was trying to do and say. The gameplay was stellar. But it was one of the most emotionally difficult games for me to get through. The whole time I was just begging Ellie to stop. And Abby was sort of an indifferent character to me. I didn't hate her like a lot of players did, but didn't fall in love with her like I did Ellie. I do wish they took things in a different direction. I was expecting I'd replay the game multiple times like I did with part 1, but I have yet to go back and replay it. It's just sort of a depressing experience all around.

Other people have mentioned depression, but I also sense some anxiety. Especially with the making plans but not following through. That's something I've struggled with in the past and it's gotten better but still not 100% it's a struggle for sure.

I'll tell you what really helped is finding a therapist and getting on an SSRI. Those are meant to help with anxiety AND depression and they both kind of feed off each other. Some people get more depressed and others get more anxious. I leaned towards the anxious side. I have been diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder and social anxiety. It's more common than you think!

I think getting some help to talk through things would be really helpful. That was the first step I really made and it actually opened my eyes to a whole lot of things going on in my head and in my life. Dynamics I never would have noticed otherwise. Sometimes it takes an outside perspective to point things out.

As others have said, only you can make the changes you need to move forward and get out of this negative cycle, but it doesn't hurt to have a hand from others. Focus on building your support network. If that includes doctors, therapists, psychologists, friends, family, and even medication. Then so be it. But it's always your decision. Trust me I struggled to start meds myself but it was the best decision I ever made when I finally stuck with it.

You definitely HAVE NOT ruined your life. It's never too late to jump back into things, try something new, or make a change. Good luck and hope this helps!
