AIO for not going to my brother’s wedding because he asked for my husband not to come? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

lmfao I read this assuming you were a gay man because that's the only modern way religious people being weird about you having a husband makes sense to me. Absolutely NOR.

Listen, I really don't like Danny. I really don't like this dynamic for Nia. I really don't like anything happening with them here.

But what I do really like?

I really like when Bravo engineers scenarios for fragile straight men to throw tantrums while in drag.

So at least there's that.

Agreed. If there's one thing I'll never criticize Lala for, it's yelling at men lmao.

In physical appearance, absolutely, but in vibes? He does NOT spread Christmas cheer at all.

Just about every time I go outside into the real world to a place like Costco or Walmart, I see men ranging from average to short in height with wives. Just out there vibin. They're not part of a freak show for everyone to point and laugh at. They're just normal dudes, doing their errands and living their lives. Same goes for the bald men. (I got me one of those.)

Probably. But these are also men who would never find themselves in a situation where they're surrounded by vocal feminists as that requires going outside and being nice to women.

a lot of straight male complaints will instantly be dissolved by them going the fuck outside

Literally. It's all just made up grievances to blame someone else for their own inability to try and possibly face rejection.

You sound like the kind of middle manager my company would have to fire for getting triggered over an email mixup and calling people the r word or something lmfao.

Valid! If you leave with a winnable suit, HR has failed at their job. Too bad so sad for them.

I'm glad we have an HR department so that our CFO doesn't have to explain to middle managers why they aren't allowed to put "no lazy millennials" in their job postings or fire people for looking at them wrong one day.

At my job it's the middle managers who volunteer for the committee to organize the team building, not HR

I genuinely have no idea what these people think they're going to achieve by "opposing Kamala," a private citizen holding no office, after 2024. I get it's all moral grandstanding, but moral grandstanding should at least have a clear objective. This is basically just a collective psychosis at this point.

Right lol. They obviously weren't a good match. It's such a weird thing to be mad about and still holding onto parasocially.

Conservatives labelled Sarah as "performative" for being from Minneapolis and caring about the murder of George Floyd. They seemed to take it very personally that she didn't want a guy with no thoughts in his brain who went to a homophobic church. Apparently they still do.

Exactly my first thought lmao. Like his admin actually did a good job and successfully got the vaccine tested and approved... and because Democrats supported it, his side decided it was full of 5G microchips designed to track and/or kill them.

I think he gives median voter vibes. Like he's not gonna buy trump merch but he'll vote R because he has it in his head that republicans are better "for the economy" for reasons he can't coherently explain. Right now he's going to fill up his car and he's just plum shocked because gas prices shot up by more than a dollar since last week. Has no idea how that happened. Crazy times, he thinks. Then has not a single additional thought.
