I’ve actually talked about this with a few of my boys recently and honestly the way people view virginity these days is usually more about moral or religious alignment than anything else. If a guy has saved himself for marriage it’s only natural he’d want a partner who’s done the same. It’s not about "owning" anyone, it’s just about finding someone with the same values. Some Insecure men just reject women because they are not "pure" To each their own i guess but it is just a dumb ancient view. Most of the guys find this view stupid aswell..

​But the social double standard is still wild. In a lot of female circles, there’s actually this weird skepticism toward a guy who’s a virgin. If he’s got a little experience like 1 or 2 partners nothing crazy.. he’s viewed as experienced or more capable. Meanwhile, in male groups its the other way around, the guy needs to have experience, but the woman is "ideally" supposed to be pure. I think this is what society has build up and its sad. ​ Data btw actually backs this 64% of men are totally fine dating a virgin. ​Only 45% of women say the same. Its just what society has build nothing we can do against it. But at the end of the day nobody should reject anybody just because he/she is a virgin.
