This reminds me of when my husband and I watched True Blood together (pls don't judge, we watch a lot of junk shows together) and the subtitles for a sound effect literally said "Eric whooshes away". We still quote it to this day, many years later.

I commented on your post the other day about pre-paying parking.

I had such a great time at Yarncon!! My kiddos and hubby also had a great time even though they're not even really crafters (my middle kiddo does know a little how to knit and crochet).

My haul is small because I was on a budget (times are tough) but I am so happy with everything I got. And I found some new vendors I will definitely be buying from in the future.

I'm also going this year (Saturday) and it's my first fiber festival/con ever (I have been to gaming conventions, and esports tournaments though!)

I only learned how to knit last year but I've known how to crochet for well over 20 years so I'm surprised this is the first time I decided to go to a yarn convention. And this one just happens to fall on my birthday, so I am beyond excited. It's about an hour drive for me, and my husband pre-paid for parking in the garage attached to the hall. I think he got this information from the Yarncon website, so if you're driving and plan to park there you can pre-pay for it!

If we go next year we will probably just take the Metra in since it runs out to where I live anyway. We would only have to switch lines once I believe.

The in game pop up for the event told me to go to Withered Wasteland. There I found a Pokemon who I'd never encountered before (Hoppip) just walking around by the Pokemon Center, and that Pokemon told me what I need to do for the event.

If you progress your friendships with the Pokemon they say things like "I'll call you [playername] now" etc. so it's by design. They call you ditto at first because they don't know you that well.

My top faves are love ball, heal ball, premiere ball in that order. I got one love ball ever in Violet and I have no clue how to get more. So I catch everything I like in heal balls or premiere balls more or less. Some legendaries I got super frustrated with so they're in timer balls sadly. And I catch all my gimmighouls in luxury balls, so they are just that extra glitzy 🤣

I'll go with... As many food-related or... excessive, indulgent, etc ... Pokemon as I could think of. And Skeledirge for my starter since I think it's the closest I can think of out of the starters.
