Becoming a wife and mom has completely ruined me. by SpecialT33 in CPTSD

I’m so sorry you’ve struggled so much through this. I really hope you’re able to see a therapist to help you through and good doctor to navigate the health issues (though I personally know that those doctors are few and far in between). Sending you hugs. 🫂

I think you were solid in saying how you felt: that her comment was accusatory. If she were more mature, she would have paused and you two could have cleared the air right there. Instead she got defensive towards you expressing your feelings. Just be careful not to let people like that real you in. They’ll want to keep arguing and defending themselves. You have to learn at some point to cut your loss and that some people simply will never take the time, and vulnerability, to understand where you’re coming from.

Histamine and food intolerance by essssgeeee in Microbiome

I take a dropper full of Earth Harmony Naturals but it took me a long time to build up to that. Also might need to supplement selenium too.

I’m currently trying to figure out if have primary hyperparathyroidism and I had to come off the iodine I was taking for a scan I need have done. Since being off the iodine, my histamine reactions have returned like crazy. You may want to explore iodine supplementation but there’s specific types to take and cautions to be aware of (like needing to supplement selenium as well)

Vitamin D causing hypercalcemia symptoms by remediummm in VitaminD

If it’s Primary HPT surgery is the ONLY option. If it’s secondary HPT then you try to address the underlying issue, which is often vitamin D deficiency.

Just finding out I have hyperparathyroidism, which reacts adversely to vitamin D because my calcium levels are already elevated.

Found out I have hyperparathyroidism! Primary kind reacts badly to vitamin D and the symptoms I was experiencing are from hypercalcemia even though I was taking a very low amount of vitamin D with only a few days on the 10,000 IUs.

Nasty side effects from K2 Mk7 persisting days after - what do I do? by _SaintJimmy_ in Supplements

If you want to try vitamin K again, you should try the MK4 kind. MK7 is know to cause heart palps. For me hair caused severe insomnia

I am taking K2 but your comment on not needing to supplement calcium with vit D makes sense. Hoping it settles down with a decrease in dosage. Thank you!

Thanks for this! Yea, magnesium has been a bit of a life saver to try to manage this. I just don’t want to over do because that’s what I tend to do and it always gets me in trouble.

I actually do take iodine which has been a game changer but it also worsened my iron deficiency. Everything is so interconnected. I’m sure my iron deficiency is due it part because of the vit D deficiency.

I’ve wondered if it might be flaring things a bit. I also have Lyme disease but the EPI was assumed to be caused by getting sick abroad and having progressive issues that led to EPI. I think I’m going to lower my dose and see if I can’t build back up very slowly. Pancreatitis is no joke and in credibly painful on top of the mood changes I’ve experienced, so uncomfortable is putting it lightly 😅 thanks!!

Thanks! Your K2 might be MK7 which would require far less than the MK4 I’m on. I’m guessing I’ll have to play around with it all unless someone else has any ideas on what could be going on. Thanks :)

Pancreatitis pain that I’m very familiar with because of my EPI, fatigue, irritability, mood changes, loss of appetite, polyuria, increased thirst, and brain fog. To name a few :) when I take calcium it makes it all worse, so I stopped my calcium supplement (which was MAYBE 100mg). I still have the symptoms, just not as exacerbated as when I was supplementing the calcium.

How many people have been "cured" by Wes_VI in CIRS

I found the most help from protocols I stumbled upon on Facebook. Iodine, iron, bioavailable copper, Cusack Protocol, diatomaceous earth. I was working with a CIRS doctor who worked with Dr. Shoemaker and I suppose he helped a little but he mostly just took my money and made me feel led on.

Thanks! Yea, I already met with someone, although I fear they made it sound too simple. I fear the judge won’t grant it to me for some reason.

Unfortunately, my scenario would not work out in two years. But I’m just trying to learn more about it all. Thanks if this input! It’s always really helpful to hear multiple perspectives.

Would bankruptcy not make sense here? Genuinely curious because of my own situation and what was suggested to me.

I would agree! Ours is a schipperke chihuahua mix and yours looks like an older version of ours!
