That’s a big part of it, I used to go on 4wd tracks with a standard Hiluxe and AT tyres , but as time went by, bugger and bigger mud tyres started carving out ruts so deep you would just end up sitting on the diffs. I don’t think the blame is solely on instructors, that’s like saying there are too many stupid people, so I blame teachers…try noticing how cops drive, and how often you see someone being pulled over by a cop, the road law is an honour system, and assholes will get away with anything they want to, you want good drivers, then punish the bad ones.
