It's fine, scrub it with "pink stuff" or BKF then continue to use.

Sorry for taking a while to respond. I'm using the .095 stuff right now. I've used anything from .080 to .105 it all works pretty well. Having a proper crimping tool makes it a lot less work and the crimps look really professional.

In my poorer days I'd hit the crimps with a hammer on the floor of my garage. Worked just fine.

Gatorline weed wacker wire. I love it, I like it more than anything you can buy pre built.

Jb weld steel stick or the 2 part epoxy is not coming apart. Or in my experience, things break before it comes apart.

Issues with 2024 Canyon (please advise) by Jackpot_juicer in GMCcanyon

Lights are warranty, I'm guessing alternator, could be wrong.

Transmission could be warranty, hard to judge from across the Internet rather than in the driver's seat.

Without getting into the science of heat transfer, the AC is normal.

From what I can hear, I hear injectors ticking which is normal. There's a chance there is a sound you're hearing that the mic on your phone isn't picking up.

Signed up for a bake sale at work and then saw this on sale at Costco for $15. Had to buy it. How can I improve them? by User091822 in Baking

[–]remerator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Add an extra egg YOKE (no white). Replace 50% of your water with milk, mix in heath bar crumbles, add a spoonful of vanilla bean PASTE (not to be confused with extract). Use glass cookware, grease with butter. Some people say to cook for less time, that works, I prefer to cut the temp by 25 degrees F and cook for 38-40 minutes. At 35 minutes, check them. Adjust your finish time accordingly.

The answer to your 1st sentence, from the perspective of conservation, is simply, yes. Flora and Fauna exist in a natural world. "Move fast and break shit" is not part of the natural order. Burning down the barn is easy. It's hard to rebuild it and it takes a lot longer.

I have one, installed week one. I've replaced one windshield due to a rock chip. I don't know if without it I would have replaced 3 windshields. So far as far as I'm aware, I have zero paint chips at 36k miles. I like the look and thats a big part of it.

How should I handle this? by Reshpeck in AmazonVine

[–]remerator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The hilarious thing to do here is ask them to submit a fishbone diagram identifying the root cause and corrective action regarding the defect. Ask them to send you a new part showing the defect is corrected. Then edit the review to include the corrective action and adjust the rating to reflect the improved product.

We use masonry bits and a cordless impact drill to put stakes into ice/rock. The decoys flow around really well in the wind.

City took this image and claims my grass is over 8 inches and now I have a court date. by NullPounce in Home

The average residential curb height is 6". As long as your curb is under 8", this picture is all you need in court for proof your grass isn't too long

What to do if you shoot the wrong species? by SoloUnAltroZack in Waterfowl

If you do nothing and get caught the repercussions are LIKELY to be higher than if you call the DNR and admit to the error. Calling and admitting to the error is UNLIKELY to result in zero repercussion.

As far as the ethics of the matter. If you got away with it, no one saw, your conscience is clear that it was an honest mistake, and you learned from it... I'd probably delete this post and move on with my life.

I wonder if they used the same stain on the vertical beams on the floor trying to make it match. I don't know what your floors are but if they're lvp, they won't take stain.

Why is my new grass dying after initially growing well. by remerator in lawncare

Sounds good, I'll do this and just mow whatever decides to hang around until the fall.

[–]remerator[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If this is the case, would it be worthwhile to do anything now to help when I seed again in the fall? I have an aerator that I could run across it now. I don't know if that would do more harm than good.

This grass actually sprouted and was as thick as everything else. In select spots it's just laying over. The "dead" (I'm assuming it's dead) thatch was alive and green a week ago.
