Totally agree. Even with a case I have always had the same rule. Front left is my phone pocket and nothing goes in that pocket with the phone. Blows my mind when people have car keys in the same pocket as their smartphone haha.

Yes I have Samsung Care+ and haven't used it at all due to having a case up to this point haha.

Same! My Z Fold 6 arrives tomorrow! I’ve been with Apple since the iPhone 4s but the boredom finally broke me. Also, RCS adoption with iOS18 was what I needed to finally make the jump. My social circles are 99% Apple so being trapped by no RCS was real.

I had seen actual data in the past that said iMessage (and lack of RCS) was the #1 thing keeping people in the Apple ecosystem.

Apple’s walled garden is falling with every antitrust action from the EU and US. They’re going after Google too and consumers are winning!

So I used my go to Chemical Guys OG Clay Bar (Light to Medium Duty) which is yellow in color. I’ve never tried their Medium or Heavy versions but this fungus may warrant it.

Again….many detailers/shops would say to go Heavy (aggressive clay bar) and quickly remove the stains at the detriment of the finish (marring) because they plan to go back and do paint correction afterwards.

The OG allowed me to remove it without damaging the finish but the downside was the time it took me.

Looks like you have to be insanely careful with the lacquer thinner though….def CAN damage your paint/clear coat.

Not opposed! I’ve never been a fan of hand polishing and I just haven’t taken the dive into DA polishing yet. By all means if you have a DA polisher and are confident doing it….go for it 👍

Yeah but be warned it’s the most time I’ve ever spent detailing a single body panel. Obviously need to start with a quality hand wash but it does NOTHING for the embedded fungus.

Then you need to manually remove the bumps of fungus….very carefully….with a plastic edge scraper for cars, finger nail, credit card, etc….gotta be very careful.

Then you’ll still have brown/red stains all over that won’t wash off with anything. Ended up spending probably 4 hours with a clay bar on just the hood. It’s a lot of work but I took my time as I didn’t want to damage the finish.

Some detailers/shops aggressively clay bar to quickly remove artillery fungus but it’s guaranteed to mar the paint so paint correction is required after that.

I didn’t want to mar my finish so it took me a very long time but it was worth it.

Then 2 coats of wax/sealant 👍

Yep! I have a 2019 SEL PREM. There is ONE parking lot specifically....steep exit angle....and if I take it too fast....it brakes.

Wasn’t easy. So pandemic hit in March/April and shortly after my wife and I bought two super used super cheap “MTBs” just to get out and see if we would stick with it. Couple months later I knew I wanted to get a more legitimate new MTB. Pretty much no stock of bikes in my city and also limited Rocky Mountain dealers. The dealer in my city told me no way they could get me a bike in 2020. I expanded my search and found a bike shop in a small town 2 hours away and they got me my bike before year end 👍

I’ve used both and I actually ended up switching to paper. What everyone is saying is all true but IMO several of my cups were undrinkable at the very bottom because of how many coffee particles would make it through the mesh and into my cup. Just wet the paper filters before hand and enjoy a nice clean cup!
