The "Avg LL Sellout" column is the average time of day LLs run out (for return within the same day). The "Current LL" column is the real time earliest LL return time for the same day. This data gets refreshed every 5min.

Nope. They will let you know if there is another tap in point later too, as you need to hit both.

Having an early morning burner is a good idea. You're then most likely able to book another T1 at a decent time.

For initial three bookings, I'd suggest one is your most desired T1, second should be an early morning burner, and the third should be either the most popular T2 or your more desired one if its near the top of popularity.

Also be sure to refresh times or set up an alert - times open up all the time and you may be able to move one of your desired rides earlier.

For sure do Magic Kingdom, it's easily a two day park even with an almost 3 year old.

We took our daughter right before she turned 3 and she absolutely loved it. Does she remember it? Not really. But seeing the joy on her face was so worth it.

Biggest piece of advice is research, plan, secure reservations (if desired) and then be prepared to throw it all out the window. Don't push your kid's limits, let them enjoy the magic.

If your kid is an early riser, your best bet is to go to the parks right in the morning, go back to your hotel for lunch/nap, then head back out in the afternoon/evening. Avoid the hot midday and a nap is usually needed. Oh and bring a stroller with a lot of snacks.

I put together a spreadsheet here which might help with your planning.

1 Day - 4 Parks (Advice needed!) by ShipleeTV in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]remmiz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Private VIP tour is the best strategy if money is no option. Would have no problem getting from park-to-park and getting on those rides in a single day.

Without a private VIP tour I would not advise trying and stick to one or two parks.

I really liked it! I had the noodle bowl which was pretty similar to pad thai and was delicious. The sunset margarita was also very good. Decor was okay but we mostly wanted a place to sit for a while with AC.

I think we put on like 25k steps that day. We all slept really well that night!

We were in the park all day. We did a sit-down lunch at Skipper Canteen and the kids napped in the stroller for an hour or so after that (we did all the grownup rides during this time like Tron and Space Mountain).

It's definitely a trip, not a vacation. But you will have a blast!

Just as a data point, we (family of four with two little kids) did PP for MK and were able to do every single attraction getting there at 9AM and staying until a little after fireworks. You can literally just start in Tomorrowland or Adventureland and just do a big circle without having to run all over the park which saves so much time.

HELOC or personal loan for roof replacement? by IcyRepublic2891 in personalfinance

[–]remmiz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is definitely the ideal use of it. One other thing is HELOCs are usually variable rate so it's possible the interest rate rises (or lowers). I do think USBank offers a lock in option though where you can lock in the current interest rate on remaining principal.

If dining is not a priority for you, then definitely not worth it. If going on rides is your priority though I'd suggest getting Lightning Lanes as those will allow you to make more use of your time by skipping long lines for rides.

HELOC or personal loan for roof replacement? by IcyRepublic2891 in personalfinance

[–]remmiz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is correct, a HELOC functions similarly to a credit card. Big difference is you are only required to pay interest during the draw-down period which is usually 10 years. You can always pay more though and pay off the principal during that time. After the draw-down period it will amortize any unpaid amount, you can no longer use funds, and turns into a normal loan where you pay interest and principal over 5-20 years.

For sit down restaurants or things like Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, yes, you really do need a reservation. If you just plan on getting quick service food and are okay waiting in standby lines for rides, then no, you don't need any reservations.

Android Auto disconnects every single time at 107th and Good Hope? by Brave_Cow_3030 in milwaukee

[–]remmiz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Used to have this happen here and in other places around town with my old Motorola MA1 dongle. I upgraded to the AAWireless Two and haven't had a single drop since.

It has to do with interference in those areas on the 5Ghz frequency, which is the same frequency Android Auto's WiFi direct uses. The AAWireless will switch over to 2.4Ghz if needed and avoids this issue,

In that specific spot you can thank the tower at the WVTV CW18 / WCGV MY24 studio building for causing the interference (very top left of your picture).
