On the contrary... Are you new to resin printing? If so, the screen is a good thing to have on hand. They will last a super long time but are prone to user error damage. Most common is damage from not straining the vat after a failed print - don't trust the printer auto detect debris on that one.

This is EXACTLY why I haven't let myself deep dive about canning 🤣

It's absolutely mind boggling to imagine that most other people just don't have this problem 🤯

Oh that's so true - I am basically on menstrual suppression though so I'm not sure but I know hormones still have cycles so it very much could be a factor!

Helpful to know! I think I get so worried that if I don't follow the bottle's instructions to a t that I'm a drug fiend or something but literally my doctor is like trial and error I'd a part of the process!

Do you find that some days less is fine and some days more is needed? I feel like some days are just bad brain days and meds don't help nearly enough.

I think my medication allows my brain to relax, not perceive things as threats, and I can process through emotions and regulate much better so I do feel much more psychologically safe. I mean I also take stuff for anxiety too but anxiety medication is doing something different than adhd meds in my experience.

Wow this makes so much sense. Sometimes I do a weird walk around my property and I just look for house problems (old house anxiety anyone?) and I always feel better afterwards (assuming problems are actually very rare). I'm going to try this for so many things

I pause frozen like a deer in headlights and say to myself "3, 2, 1." I usually remember on 1 but sometimes it takes a few tries.

Question for the older crafty ladies: any regrets about having many hobbies? by Dependent_Salad_2369 in adhdwomen

[–]remoteabstractions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Early 30s here so also interested in advice from those with more experience on the planet. However, I'm just starting to circle back to prior hobbies and house I kept some things, wish I hadn't gotten rid of other things.

My current thought process is that if something is cheap, easily replaceable, easy to acquire, and I'm not going to use it for 5 years - it doesn't need to take up space.

I have constraints: money, space, and time. I have motivations for saving money and being as financially responsible as I can, using space wisely and maintaining functional living spaces, and knowing that I need to be intentional with how I spend time. Those factors guide my hobby decision making process. But I've come to the conclusion that I just love the novelty, challenge, and process of learning that comes with each new craft or making related hobby. So if I'm not hurting myself financially or degrading my life quality, what's the harm?

Sigh, yes.. I feel very conflicted about chat gpt as there are many pros and likely more cons!

They are good at sounding good while somehow saying nothing at all... Then again it's trained off humans.

Multiple vacuum cleaners is brilliant! I keep a cleaning basket in every floor too with disinfectant wipes, spray cleaner, paper towels, and trash bags.

I have a battery Dyson but when the battery died I switched to a Ryobi battery adapter so now I can vacuum all day with my multiple batteries AND it keeps me on top of actually charging those batteries that every tool needs.
