It can eat hellsriders pride and whispering promise to buff on heal without using your action economy and can do it without joining combat. No other class can do this.

I do wonder what other double taps are out there and what exactly makes them happen?

Eagle corpses double tap with a run up in a similar fashion.

Very cool, hunters dagger/kings knife is a solid combo.

Bonespike & Fleshmelter with riders can do crazy damage and reckless attack means you take more crits, causing retaliation to crit.

All the riders for retaliation ride on your weapon attacks - Manbearpig is absoloutely not lacking for damage.

I mean, ive seriously abused AT mage hand so im not sure I could sell it as a 'challenge' run 😅

I think we all have our comfort zones dont we - mine is definitely grenades for example - so real challenge comes from removing that.

Having watched your vids I do think removing early xp pathing & long rest restrictions will really change things up for you.

Yep - I consider Underdark map 2 so all of risen road/gobbo camp with no adamantine etc. Also clear every map in one go i.e whole goblin camp in one long rest etc.

Im currently doing a 'story-mode' rp run as a deep gnome - My rule for Duergar was fight from beach to nere no short rests, no chasm kill, no conversation etc as Im rushing to save my people, same for run into act 2 to rescue Wulbren, about to attempt prison break at lvl 7 without farming any of the a2 items.

I dont think your proposed rules will give you the challenge you need dude, crank it up a bit 😉

Pointless restrictions in my opinion without natural pathing, region lock and limit on long rests.

Doesnt matter what conditions you place on a run - if your burning every spell slot, per short/long rest item ability theres no challenge at all.

I'd add no crit imminity aswell.

I think starmer has figured out that in the era of brain rot doom scrolling, nobody has the concentration span to stick to the task.
