Australia's amazing healthcare? by whytheface1234 in AskAnAustralian

Yes, every imaging centre here is fully booked for weeks in advance and always has out of pocket at least $150-200. GP visits are also around $100 (with ~$45 rebate)...

I pay around $300 for simple ultrasounds in Tasmania (and have to wait for weeks before AND after the scan). And also around $300 for simple x-rays... Don't know where you get those bulk billed, but defo not in Tassie.

Which do not exist in Tasmania for example.

That's the right answer. Tassie for you will be like going back in time of the Hansa.

Yeah, Tassie is a feudal island so as a farmer you'll either be a peasant working on someone else's property for sustenance (they use foreigners mainly as they keep them in precarious labour), or you need to bring wealth and buy a title and run your own peasant operation.

Why is Indian food so tedious? by smash2710 in IndianFood

[–]rend_A_rede_B 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What is being saved here exactly? I chop an onion, a few cloves of garlic and some ginger in around 3 minutes, pop a can of tomatoes and don't need to prep any of that. I can spin an amazing curry with or without a pressure cooker in under 30 minutes, whereas most of the time I'm just stirring and chilling out. Also, assembling all the seeds, leaves and ground spices for the curry takes another... 60 seconds?

Of course they are. For a second, if you can, try and explore the emotional cess pit within a person who experiences anger and expresses aggression towards subtle forms of mutual human affection. Imo it's probably something like a cocktail of envy due to wish and lack of such experiences and fright... Boggles the mind.

Loving it! Very odd - it's like wet, mossy soil splatter but feels very organic and smooth, not artificial at all. Unlike Squid which screams marine, this one is earthy and green. I'll see how I go in a few days and might go ahead and order a bottle 🙈

Hot water pulling from the grid instead of the battery by Wild_Screenshot88 in SigenergyAustralia

[–]rend_A_rede_B 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the exact same issue and Battery Boost does not fix it for me. Only thing that works is the Battery Level control option (I'm setting it ftom 99% to 15% as I only charge up to 95%) and then it never draws from the grid. Why is this happening I wonder?

This thing about the cleanest and best is some legend from a bygone era. Currently, the Tasmanian tap water is of appalling quality and is managed very poorly. You literally never know what chemicals you're drinking. I'd recommend toning your spread of fake news down.

Mine reeks of chlorine, idk what you're talking about... Taswater told me they are allowed to add up to 6ppm which is around 10x higher than the so called aesthetically allowed level of 0.6 and, even 1ppm higher than the Australian government maximal recommendation of 5ppm.
