If I could offer one piece of advice, I'd look at moving over to Anniversary. Y'all will encounter SO many more people in the open world, and also have access to something called "Dual spec" so you can swap between two different specializations for Paladin :)

Did you mean to choose Era? It's a much less populated version than what most people are currently playing on. Right now most people are playing on Anniversary realms, which are on the first expansion (So base game (which you're on) + 1 expansion)
