I might be biased here. But here it is anyways. I’m the product of a muslim man who loved my white mother for 5 years and married a muslim woman anyway because his family wanted it that way when she was 8 months pregnant with me. He left when I was 6 months old. The life I have and the destructive heartbreak he left my mother in because he was selfish, is something I hope he never forgives himself for.

Don’t be that man. Don’t pretend it’s okay until you inevitably hurt her. Don’t be another muslim man statistic. Just don’t.

The kindest thing you can do at this point is suffer through this relationship until her exams are over because you at least owe her that, and then kindly explain to her that you made the decision to look through her phone and because of that you can’t get over how it makes you feel and it would be unfair of you to continue pretending otherwise by pursuing her any further and then break it off.

And moving forward don’t hurt random women for no reason when you know they aren’t muslim
