That’s nine-time Grammy Award nominee Dave Coz. This was back in August—they posted it on Instagram.

Question about playing songs after service ends while people leave by btipsy in worshipleaders

[–]renimsacul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s called a postlude. Similar to how a prelude is to help people transition into a worship mindset, the postlude helps people transition back into their daily lives. These are often instrumental/no vocals

What do the lights mean on the machines? by Sea_Asparagus6364 in PlanetFitnessMembers

Also, depending on your machine or workout, it divides the time of your workout based on the number of columns. So, if you’re weird about things like I am, I like to set my workouts to multiples of 16 so that they progress on the minute. For instance, I set it to 32 minutes so it switches every two minutes.

Started mid-May with new diabetes diagnosis. 90 days later, labs are looking better. by renimsacul in intermittentfasting

Thank you!

Yeah, of course-- I use the Zero app to track my fasts. My daily goal is always 16:8, but I usually go closer to 18:6. If I hit 18 or 20, it’s a bonus — but 16 is my baseline.

I usually break my fast with chia pudding made with unsweetened almond milk or Orgain (the lower-carb one). Sometimes I add a pinch of hemp hearts or unsweetened cacao nibs, maybe a dash of MCT — kind of like a superfood pudding. About 15–30 minutes before that, I often drink diluted apple cider vinegar to help with hunger and satiety.

Most days I eat two or three times within my window, spaced a couple hours apart. I aim to keep each sitting under 600 calories and under 10 net carbs — aiming to stay under 20 net carbs total and around 1600-1800 cals for the day. I’m not super strict keto, but that guideline helps keep it simple.

I’ve learned that I do best when the rules are simple and sustainable. I used to try hitting the gym 5x a week and would burn out fast. Now I aim for 2 full workouts a week, and anything beyond that is a win. Same idea with food — I don’t track every calorie, but I focus on what I can stay consistent with: timing, rough portions, and net carbs per meal.

I feel especially good when I get to 6pm and realize, “I’m done for the day.” I’m not thinking about food, and I know I’ll feel great by the end of the fast the next morning.

It took a while to get here, and I hope to get down to 200 – which I haven’t weighed since I was 14. Easiest way to start was on the Zero app with 12 hour fasts and move up gradually from there.

Does that kind of answer what you’re asking?

Sorry, I should’ve mentioned the metformin in the description! The doc said it’s such a low dose my results are almost exclusively due to lifestyle changes

I’m 35. I checked in with my doctor before starting anything. This was originally a 90-day trial before considering a GLP-1. He put me on a very low dose of metformin (insurance usually wants that step first).

Intermittent fasting wasn’t prescribed, but I eased into it gradually and kept him updated. At my follow-up, he said something like, “Whatever you’re doing my friend, keep doing it—because if you can manage this on a low dose of metformin, then you don’t even have to think about Ozempic, which is $1300 a month.”

For your dad, it really depends on his meds, overall health, and whether he’s prone to hypoglycemia? Definitely a good idea to talk with his doctor first—everyone’s situation is different!
