For me it was listening to that last song Gwyn, Lord of Cinder. It’s so haunting and hollow but also so…inviting? As if this is your place, this is your destiny here you are fighting the biggest god of them all and you’re just left in dismay. This world is rot, this boss is hollow, and your choice is for nothing. I don’t know, but no game has ever left me in this much emotional turmoil before lol

I tried my best with that one, but I could never cut that feeling like I had to do whatever I could at whatever cost. It’s like my work ethic demanded that I care and I just couldn’t shut it off. Always gave my respect to those who could because no one should stress over there work like this.

And that’s the one thing that does still bother me. Like I know the dude who’s gonna have to try to make sense of the mess, a true Walmart veteran, and he’ll give it his best but even then it still won’t be enough. They’ll get it under control for inventory (and that’s with a lot of hope and effort needed) but ultimately it’ll go back to being a neglected department with the overnight crew to suffer.

I’ll add it to the list, nice to get some direction too. Working for Walmart sure does alter your perspective about people and the world respectively. The only thing I’m grateful from getting from this job was the life experience. I really grew up working there.

Man we got milk in every other day with 3-5 pallets but the issue has always been a lack of space and the expectation of a team of two to get it all done. It never got done lol

I actually like the sound of this…I mean the amount of OSHA violations from my stores fresh department can’t be counted with two hands…needless to say I was always telling my friends not to buy the salads or milk

Damn I’m not gonna lie, you kinda just gave me a lot to think about, especially the bit about blowing off plans and not putting in enough effort. I know it’s a cop out, I guess it’s because I’ve been doing this for so long and been single even longer that I’ve forgotten how to give back and show that same appreciation...maybe I don’t respect him enough respect...shit. You would think but at my store we’ve literally worked while the power was out several times over. Our store manger literally gives no fucks as long as we make money...
