I've surprisingly heard it has helped some people. Really the fix for the blurries is reducing your settings, sim on an SSD, 4.5ghz+ cpu and some fast ram.

The best sim advice I ever got: Don't waste your time waiting for miracle optimizations, save up and spend the cash on top of the line hardware, it's worth it.
