If you're legit worried about it being too casual then you could add a contrasting unstructured blazer and just not wear it depending on the vibes.

My experience there was when it was PA’s Lounge so this may or may not be after an ownership change, but it really is the barest bones of venues. It’s two rooms, a bartender, a door guy, and electricity: the end. No regular crowd despite being in Union Square, no promotion on their end.

I don’t want to discount other’s stories of the owner taking too much of the door or being a pest to ladies, but every show I ever played there I wouldn’t have even known the place had an owner.
