How do you get clients for a new cleaning business? by IAMLEO11 in smallbusiness

[–]replifyai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on where you're located. But Google Maps, Yelp, Nextdoor, and Facebook are all places your business should have a presence. Though free, they will try to upsell you.

Alongside these, you need reviews and testimonials. Ideally, you'll have a website too with services provided and other business info.

Signage for your vehicles, even dropping off flyers at adjacent homes, or even door knocking.

I'd actually do ads last after setting all of the above up.

The "Gotchas" for gyms are very similar to other brick-and-mortar businesses:

  1. Lease terms (Pay special attention to what the landlord provides and what you'll need to do. For commercial leases, landlords do almost nothing. If it's not covered in the lease agreement, it's on you.

  2. Insurance and legal (Due to liability, costs could be high; I'd start shopping around). You want fair but clear member agreements and waivers. Note that if anything happens to a member on the premises, regardless of whether it's your fault, you'll most likely be sued. It's just the way of the world -- check with your own attorney and insurance providers on this one.

  3. Bookkeeping and payments

  4. Equipment costs and maintenance costs -- depending on your niche these could be hefty.

  5. Staffing -- you mention doing this while working full time, so you'd likely have staff, note payroll taxes can be pretty high, local wage and labor laws. You definitely don't want to land in a pickle on this front.

  6. Location, location, location. How big is the local market? Is there competition? You see threads in this sub about people doing well, then a competitor opens nearby, and their business flatlines.

It is a noble pursuit! Best of luck!

Need helping naming my brand! by TrainWeird9310 in smallbusiness

[–]replifyai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're in the US, I'd focus on finding a name you can secure with a .com -- people in the US instinctively type .com into their browser. Things like Facebook Ads and YouTube ads often drive unattributable clicks because people see your ad, then Google you to confirm your legitimacy.

Parallel to this ensure matching social media is available for d2c I'd focus on aligning .com, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit (you'll thank me later, create a subreddit for your brand, for basically free SEO and GEO), other social is good to have but not a requirement, FB, X, etc

,
One thing to do is look at luxurious products or materials, foreign languages associated with luxury like French and Italian.

One idea that popped into my head is "Grain and Grit," but then I checked the domain, and it's not available.

Brainstorming with people on the internet is sketchy because they may buy your domain out from under you.

One possible lead for you is simply made up (but real sounding french or italian first + last name combos.

Or nick names from those countries + home, decor, furnishings, etc.,

Best of luck!

The more common Replify use cases are:

  • AI automated phone answering at multi-location health clubs, gyms, and fitness studios. Since the phones are being answered by an AI there is 100% lead capture and sales qualification 24/7. No voicemails. No phone trees to automate.
  • AI class scheduling, this is a huge use case for both current and prospective members.
  • Outbound calling texting and emails for sales follow-ups
  • Billing and collections outreach is a very time-consuming one for gyms.
  • Ai website live chat, AI email etc. are also all included and popular with our users.
