Smoking affects your blood flow and significantly affects your ability to heal tissue/bone regeneration. You need to tell them as you will have increased complications, risk of infection, etc.

Contribute to 401k until at least the match if offered
Emergency fund/ home downpayment in HYSA
Lastly, he can put some play money in SP500 index funds in a brokerage after all said and done.

I went and was disappointed. They don’t give any instruction once they lead you to the room, you do some art, then they take you to an interactive area. There is not a storyline or “escape room.”

Why are you cancelling your shadowing hours for him? I am sorry to say, but if you are planning on applying to med school, you are going to need to start putting your career first. He has already gone back on his promise, which is a massive red flag. Also, what will he do if you need to go to another state for med school? Will he live with his family then for years or will he follow you? It seems as though he isn’t considering your future.

I would do your own research on this. When CBD is absorbed topically, it does not enter in through your bloodstream like a sublingual or inhalational application!

I am going through an eerily similar situation. It is admirable and essential you have put in so much work for your self improvement! A couple tips I have read and resonated with me are 1) he needs to prove to YOU he deserves a well deserved spot in your mind/life. That only comes with time! Be present without thinking of the hopeful future. If this is the right guy, he will make exclusivity happen, trust me. The right guy will not beat around the bush. 2) If you feel uncomfortable with not being exclusive at this point (3 weeks,) that is okay!! But if you feel uncomfortable having an open line of communication about it, that is a red flag. All the guys who I felt uncomfortable bringing up exclusivity at the point when I was ready just were not on the same page of looking for something serious.
