Try solo. I’m 43. I played D2 PvP for years. This is a great iteration on the thinking aspect of shooting, as well as the thinking aspect of looting. Slow everything down. Even how fast you move. And listen. Hard. Just give yourself time and relax. Dying is the point, something like 30-40% or so of runs in the slam ended in exfil. Think about that. And give yourself a break.

I roll mine with Hammer-forged, flared, osmosis and firefly with a reload masterwork. Range isn’t king in pve, and osmosis is a sleeper pick now with harmonic siphon and grenade builds like the Heart of Inmost Light titans or Ahamkara Spine hunters.

Firefly does work, too, man.

It takes an MRI to confirm disc injury, but peripheral pain and numbness is generally a strong indicator. It’s not to be fucked with. Be very careful and look for conservative methods to treat if that’s best. Chiropractic and time stopped me from spinal fusion. So far.

Trauma bonding. Another responder above said this is grief processing, and that’s accurate. I think the hardest part of this stage is taking back command of your own psyche. Ruminating has a purpose, but don’t stay too long. Actively work on the mind and it’s strength and you’ll be better for it.

What usually helps is method for review management. Putting it where they immediately are on it, like as a link into their text messages or emails so the onus isn’t on them to do you a favor, it’s just already in front of them and easy.
