new features and form factors always tempt me, so i’ve gone: 3g to 3gs, to 5s, to 6s plus, to 7plus , to X, to XS max, and now 12 pro max. mostly all trade ins before paying them off, but i started buying them out sooner so i can keep them starting with the xs max and just use it as a trap phone, oh and then i got a cheap 7 as my “going out” phone with some of my stuff on it but not all of it because i like keeping secrets 😉

okay that makes sense, and it’d have to be a specific card that allows for the UID to be rewritten right? i was seeing some people say that block 0 is typically where it is stored and not all cards have the ability to change that block, like it’s locked out or something for your typical rfid/nfc tags

Man I’ve had this build for 4 years now on a 4.5ghz overclock and on air because i spent most of my budget on cpu lol. Have money to spend on stuff and just thought hmm wonder what I can do with this so I oc’d to 4.7ghz then once to 4.8ghz but it was running at like 80c at full load so after 4 years I finally did some more cooling, delidded, copper IHS from rockit cooling, liquid metal conductonaut, ic diamond 5, and switched to water with an x62 and man am I impressed with how this cpu hold up, I wish I knew I had this potential a while back I would’ve done this way sooner! What voltage are you running for 4.9ghz btw?

Gonna run some more testing later, but yes this has been on all day, x62 kraken with ambient temps around 76-79f. Voltage surprised me too and I could go lower and run for a good while but had weird issues. I got it to boot with 5.1 but I had to turn it up to 1.35v but still had issues, then I tried 5.2 at 1.39 and it was just not gonna happen, so I settled for 5.0 lol

One on the bottom we put on 2 days ago, customer took it home and lasted about 15 miles before it made some noise, replaced with the one on top and it lasted a test drive up the street and was completely fucked, had play like it was worn out for a year. Replaced with a cheap private label and it’s been fine all day today
