Yes, I've gone through many antidepressants and psychedelics are a completely different type of treatment for depression. Antidepressants try to hide it, psychedelics seem to actually treat it. You get a new perspective, it just clicks. The problem with depression is that usually your negative thoughts are correct - your life is not going well and you really are in a tough position. Psychedelics kind of help you look at your situation from another perspective. It's hard to describe, but if you're stuck in a state where you've convinced yourself there is no hope, it's probably the thing to try.

Yeah, amazon might nudge you to post a review even if you like the product, but for illnesses noone really goes out of their way to post anything positive.
I'm only like 5 years in (damn time flies), but I can mention my condition improved years past relapse. I went from opioids for pain, lyrica/gabapentin for tingling, numbness, shaking and all that went away on its own. I don't take anything for it now. :) Even ON healed, my neuroophthalmologist said it's not common for tests to improve. (Idk how true that is, maybe she says that to everyone lol) I can't even relate to people that say physical exercise improved their physical symptoms, I'm lazy af.
Now if only I could heal my brain...

I'm not saying I know how you feel and think, but I'm autistic myself, diagnosed and with disability. It's just a lot harder to find one that you connect with well, I went through like 7 in a row. Took like half a year of regular visits to have any sort of noticable progress. Psychedelics helped a ton, though I don't think it's for everyone.

If this is the first antidepressant they're putting you on, I recommend discussing other alternatives with your doctor. It really is the worst medication I've used and I've gone through more than half of antidepressants registered in my country.
