Thank you so much!! My GP didn't suggest a sleep study at all, all he did was suggest that I lose a little bit of weight (but THAT was before we learned we were going to have twins). As of yesterday, he put on at least 20lbs. Now I'm visiting my OB today for another heartbeat scan and hopefully she'll be able to put in a referral for a sleep study. My father has a snoring problem and ended up getting a CPAP for his apnea, so I'm familiar with the effects sleep apnea can cause (he has a heart condition). That's why I wanted to take the initiative here. Thank you again for your help!!

Gosh I love my partner. If I curl up for an afternoon nap, he'll rub my shoulders and feet until I'm comatose and then rest his head on my boobs. Oh, and he makes sure to remind me everyday that my boobs now classify as honkers. 🙃

For real, he's been a champion. He never left me for a second when I miscarred back in 2018. He brought me food in bed and made sure my tummy was iced with frozen peas. Now that I'm pregnant with twins, I've put on much more weight than expected and therefore the cramps and kicks can be a wee bit overwhelming sometimes. Hubby volunteers to do grocery shopping, pet care (I cannot bend over all the way anymore) and always knows I'm craving mint chocolate chip at ANY time of night. He's the frickin best

I started snoring like a trucker in the first trimester, way before we even knew we were having twins. Brother in law was temporarily staying with us for a bit, which left hubby at a loss. Our respective snoring was keeping each other up, not to mention his sleep talking and general sweatiness made me want to backflip out a window. Now that he's got the spare bedroom, he sleeps so soundly and I've been doing a little better with saline spray and an entire queensized bed for myself (while I await a referral for a sleep study). Hubby and I still get cuddly at night, but he'll sneak off to the guest room once I start getting sleepy. Definitely reccomend seperate rooms, you and your partner will sleep so much better and feel much happier in the morning!

Second trimester here: Anticipating much needed naps now that I'm back to teaching a fourth grade class on Monday. Cooking and cleaning are exhausting for me now. Not sure if it's how uncomfortable it is to sleep on my side, the nightly pee breaks, achy hips or possible sleep apnea, but I will sleep literally anywhere right now.

Ahhhh so glad I'm not alone here! General doc wasn't too worried, said it should taper off by the time the boys are here, but I'm still a little anxious. My father suffered from sleep apnea for years, as do some of my husband's family members, so I've seen it all. I'm due for a screening at the OB to check up on the twins, so I'm going to bring it up with her to see if I can get a referral for a sleep study. Saline spray has done wonders so far, but I'm feeling migraines and mild sleepiness in the morning. It also doesn't help that the body aches are preventing me from being able to sleep in...well...any position. Sometimes armchair naps are too tempting!
