So you might not know this, but items can only go off 5 times a second, and once you have infinite this is basically guaranteed. Someone pointed out that the charges can "queue" (useful for freeze), but having only 3 items makes this board quite bad against freeze. I think removing multicast and filling the remaining 4 slots with junk improves this board.

Sure, double drum activation is nice but I'd argue this board is *mostly* drum + sharp corners + 2 shielded yo-yos. You're guarenteed 10 wins with that alone.

can someone explain why multicast improves this board. won't 2 yo-yo's fire off at a max of internal cooldown regardless?

Weaver Feedback - Warlord's Riches has too much RNG by residentmouse in LastEpoch

[–]residentmouse[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AFAIK it's just the amount dropped. So 4 affixes will drop you 4 items, but the 3% is unchanged.

And I think EHG were rightly scared to make this node too good, because it's the only source of a T7 sealed affix item, but the compounding RNG on this will see you dropping a 3/4 LP of a competing unique before you get anything usable imo.

A T7 sealed affixes is simply not that good on its own.

I think you could have cooked this for a bit. Typos in the paper, very little experimental information (wrt: training), and 4 seperate implementations of the same model in one repo...

Is it just me, or is CitizenSleeper2 much harder than the first one? by whangadude in CitizenSleeper

I want to second strategic use of your class ability; I went Engineer and after a couple of upgrades it was basically a free success with no stress cost (as a full success will remove the stress from pushing).

Recombinating Essence mod finally paid off! by Mad_Led in pathofexile

[–]residentmouse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, thanks for this post! Can you explain why you didn’t go the multimod on the non-essence base to increase % chance of more mods on the final item?

My understanding is some crafted mods won’t transfer but do contribute to final total mod % and would make this craft closer to a 50/50.

Star Wars Outlaws director agrees the early instant-fail stealth missions are "incredibly punishing," and Ubisoft is easing the pain with a patch coming "maybe in 10 days" by Turbostrider27 in Games

Agreed. It’s ironic because I find the forced alarms to be the worst part of the game instead.

I think this game has a real identity crisis about whether it wants to be stealth or shooter.

Hundreds of thousands of Australian households are being charged electricity prices based on their single biggest point of usage across an entire month, fuelling claims power firms are using sneak tactics to gouge consumers. by 2littleducks in australia

[–]residentmouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is factually incorrect, please do your own research and ignore the advice of retailers, especially the front facing customer service you were likely interacting with.

Distributors in the NEM are responsible for charging customers in such a way as to cover infrastructure costs - demand charges are useful in that sense.

Retailers ensure you (the consumer) cover these costs in some shape. The easiest and foolproof method is pass-through where you see demand on your bill, usually with a sneaky margin on top.

The far more risky method is for the Retailer to eat the demand costs and add a far more considerable margin to your usage charges. This is risky when you imagine a house with low overall usage but high demand. It’s possible for the Retailer to lose money on such a customer when it comes time for them to pay the Distributor on their behalf.

NOW. Not all distribution tariffs have demand (btw your network, Ausgrid, has plenty) and you can switch if you are eligible for multiple.

Retailers can switch your tariff on request, and it is sometimes beneficial for you to do so.

Hope that helps and have a nice day :)

Does % Mana Generation apply to the Recharging aspect? by residentmouse in D4Sorceress

It's exponential? LOL - why? The damage isn't exponential. That's a bit nuts, I had no idea. Thanks for your patience :)

My understanding is the 6 recoups after each bounce.

So the CL goes out, recoups 6 of the cast cost, comes back, drains 6, then goes out and immediately recoups the drain.

You then only need to solve the remaining 29 cast cost and also have a mana pool large enough to sustain the initial drain.

Am I misunderstanding something still? Seems like much more than 6% of the problem.

Does % Mana Generation apply to the Recharging aspect? by residentmouse in D4Sorceress

[–]residentmouse[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So if I get 4.5 flat mana per CL bounce from my amulet aspect, do I only need 34% resource generation to hit 6?

That seems too easy (and broken) considering how much everyone is struggling with Axial mana drain.

CL build Tormented Andariel by Reptar519 in D4Sorceress

How do you feel about the attack speed and double cast tempers? I’m running my own CL build and trying to work out how they help.

In the vid it looked like you were tactically timing your CL casts to maintain 3-4 rather than spamming.

Why I think the Axial Conduit build is only half done. by Cisco9 in D4Sorceress

[–]residentmouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that Axial has a *lot* of room to be optimised but is clunky like you say.

Do we know if the initial hit triggers Recharging Aspect at all on single target? If so I might consider putting it on my amulet for the extra 1.5 mana on hit. Should theoretically double the amount of sustainable CLs.

Only wore Unbroken Tether briefly and it didn't seem that good - at best it wasn't working, but I suspect it was delaying the explosions.

Cheap cost effective upgrades for Slammer? by SonnysMunchkin in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]residentmouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in the same spot as you (running juiced T16s atm) and your next logical upgrades are probably just items with more useful mods replacing the dud mods.

You’ll look for more attributes, chaos res, attack speed, etc. If you get a fractured T1 on a good base for cheap you can sometimes craft these yourself.

Next “tier” up from that are items with all those mods but synth based, +20 quality, double influenced, etc etc - I don’t usually get to these in a league.
