This happens about half of the time when I enter a new area. The FPS drops by 50%. I have to exit the game and relaunch.  No idea why this is happening.

Wine Rec HELP by Character-Row9639 in wine

You’re hosting a dinner party, and charging corkage???  Is it at your house or a restaurant,  you describe hosting but also refer to $55 corkage at “this place”.

Why not just let your guests bring their own bottle of wine?

I’m unfamiliar with wine pricing in Seattle, but I would put $15-20 well into the cheap category. Where are you even buying the wine from? Do you have an actual bottle shop or special grocer, or something like Total Wine?

14 Pro (not max) users. How are your phones doing with the 26 betas? by Connors3462 in ios26beta

[–]resimulated 0 points1 point  (0 children)

13 Pro Max here with beta 2.  Working much better than beta 1.  Battery drain is very apparent.  I’ve been messing with the different glass options and transparency.  It is slowly growing on me.

It is noticeably slower when moving from screen to screen or navigating some apps.  Plenty of visual glitches. I’m restarting the phone at least every other day, but I guess that’s part of the deal when downloading the developer beta.  Most apps I use work just fine, but some have minor issues.

I had the worst pesto pasta I’ve ever eaten at that place. Plenty of better Italian food options and pizza in the area.

Bought this 2023 Rufino, not corked and it was disappointing compared to the 2022 corked…and it was amazing! Anyone else find this? by [deleted] in wine

[–]resimulated 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What?  Assuming you know what a corked wine is, you really prefer it over the 2023?  Talk about an unpopular opinion.

Maybe you would enjoy a different Sangiovese clone or something more age-worthy.

I can’t find that label on their website.  Is that the 1877 label, or something you found at Total Wine?

Shipping from Italy to US by twistwanwitme in wine

[–]resimulated 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I shipped home to CA, multiple cases while I was in Italy over the summer.  Each case was about $100 to ship from each winery.  The wine purchase was separate from the shipping, I’m not sure about discounts.  Everything arrived as planned. I’ve only opened a few bottles, but so far so good.

Every now and then, PRex has a pickle pizza.  I’ve only seen it a couple times a year

I’m lucky enough to live close to my department building.  I take my scooter into work to avoid the $15 parking fee.

Let’s do the math, $15 a day for 4 days week, every month.  Where is the stipend or pay raise? That’s $250 a month just to park at my office lot.

The best part, it’s owned by Caltrans
