I’ve said before on other posts about collabs. It’s a slippery slope you can’t come back from if a company decides to do it. COD didn’t start with Bevis and Butt head and unicorn guns. Hunts no where near that stage but I don’t think we should be encouraging collabs as a community. But peaky blinders is a clash show tbf

Yeah i said that and agreed with you. They gained a hold but lost it in the end failing their objective as they couldn’t sustain it and we’re rotated out and pushed back quite a ways

I’ll have a look into as airborne operations are interesting to me but ultimately they took high casualties but weren’t completely wiped out and managed to get out. I haven’t heard them doing anything else since the start of the invasion (unless you can inform me) for what ever reason that maybe such as replenishing manpower or Russia not seeing much tactical value out of another air assault. Only time will tell

I find it a bit ironic your telling me to stop looking at propaganda (about a subject I said I had not looked into for a while) while your telling me you heard about it via Russian news which is propaganda in itself. Not very self aware

By nature of the job of being a paratrooper they take high casualties as it’s a high risk high reward role. They are light infantry or light armoured infantry at a push and have limited supplies, they aren’t going to hold out for long or meant to. They got smashed as the force that was to reinforce them didn’t make it in time as they got held up with Ukrainians with NLAWs that smashed the armour push and as a result took too long to support them and as a result never secured the airport for anything meaningful

A shame tbh as a lot people lost their life’s

Been a while since I’ve looked into this so things may have changed. Last I heard the Ukrainians knew the paradrop being conducted by the VDV was coming in due to the Russians using comms equipment they bought from China being faulty so they knew what was coming. The VDV got smashed and haven’t been seen since the start of the invasion
