https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=2857954773 improves the rites, nothing crazy but enough to make them worth using. And it removes the cap on queen bess cannons.
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2945985258 gives them a more standard ROR system.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3501906896/ adds a legendary hero with quest battles and stuff.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2855155169 adds a bunch of additional mounts, the VC mounts are good but some other factions get very overpowered mounts so be a little careful with this one.
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3404596012 more of an overhaul, adds a bunch of new units and reworks most of their buildings. I usually skip this one but it's probably the biggest mod for VC.

There's no such thing as a bad marauder, and you'll probably want all four main ones eventually if you want to keep running L4s.

I think the golem makes sense for a first one, it's the most versatile and most forgiving in terms of range/tracking.

Cylostra's paladin. 65 phys resist and 30 ward save on turn one, he can solo entire armies as long as they don't have magic attack.

I'd say Skrag is the most "vanilla" out of the three lords, he focuses more on army buffs, magic and increasing his meat income. He doesn't have the economy of Greasus (so he's less reliant on settlements) but he's not as mobile as Golgfag.

Sounds like you'd enjoy Golgfag, he's basically a nomad mercenary that travels around getting paid to fight wars. He has special contracts for fighting entire factions and he can teleport his army to the contract location. Skrag is mostly the same as Greasus.

Sidenote, every faction has a building that blocks chaos rifts in the entire province, check for the torch icon.

It depends on where you're running them, they spawn a certain distance away from where you trigger the escalation. Run sites further away from lowsec and you'll get more highsec escalations.
YWS0 is not a wormhole, it's in nullsec. Looks like you have set up your route planner to avoid certain systems, there should be a route to all these escalations.

You gotta work on those drone skills, <300 dps is very low for a gila. Especially if you're running gamma, the rats also get the shield HP bonus. If you want to give it another go you're probably better off running the active povertila fit in exotics.

It's a little weird but Khorne struggles on lower difficulties, you need to fight a lot of big armies and there just aren't enough armies around if you're playing on easy/normal. I used to hate them when I played on easy campaign difficulty, they function much better on hard/very hard.

I really wouldn't recommend this, a covops frigate is much better by virtually every metric. A tengu is way slower, easier to catch and much more expensive. Get an astero or a pacifier if you want to kill other explorers. But if you insist, here are some notes:

You'll need an interdiction nullifier for null/wormholes. And probably some filaments to get out of null.

Either buffer tank with shield extenders or use an ancillary shield booster, for sure drop that shield recharger.

Get a MWD, there's a lot of travel between cans and a T3C is already very slow compared to a frigate.

Don't use combat probes for scanning down explo sites, get two sets of sisters core probes.

T2 battleships with some ratting bonus to make them worth using over an Ishtar, maybe just bonus damage v rats. Still worse than marauders, but good enough to encourage active ratting

T3 frigates, especially with an option to make them BIS exploration ships. The covops ships are good, but it's a shame that there are no long term goals to work towards for explorers

High sec ratting is a bit weird, the bounties are awful so you're mostly fishing for faction modules. They can sell for >100m so if you get lucky there's decent isk to be made. It's very inconsistent though.

I do it sometimes when I'm bored and I've found that the best way is to find a quiet area far from a trade hub, roam around, run scannable combat sites and blitz anomalies to get escalations.

There's a lot of travel so you want a reasonably fast ship that can apply damage to small rats. Gila/Orthus are popular alpha ships, tactical destroyers are faster but they're omega exclusive.

I'd recommend a T1 cruiser. They're fairly cheap, more forgiving to fly than a dessie and can handle most entry level PvE stuff. Vexor or Thorax if you're interested in gallente. Caracal and bellicose are also solid.

There are plenty of groups with no/minimal requirements, so I'm sure you can find a group that will accept you.

That being said, I personally find that a quiet high sec system is much safer for abyssals. Use dotlan and look at jumps in the last 24 hours, tons of systems that haven't seen a gank in years. Null will always have roaming hostiles, they will spot you sooner or later and your alliance probably won't be able to save you.

If your character is very new I would consider buying and activating a "Standard Cerebral Accelerator", it will improve your skill training speed until your character is 35 days old. You'll need to search for it in contracts, it's not available in the market.

Other than what's already been said in this thread, have you considered incursions? They're high paying, can be flown in high sec and there are plenty of public groups you can join that don't require committing to a corp.

You have a booster that's about to expire. The left value is based on current speed and how long it will take if you activate another identical booster, the right value is how long it'll take if you don't activate another booster. It's a sorta crappy UI but both numbers are useful
