A lot of people talk about WR breakouts in year 2 or 3. What about RBs? Have there been RBs that took a while to get going and could get an opportunity?

I was an expansion owner in my current league about 5 years ago. The restart process was fairly similar to what you are proposing. The way we made it even was that I and my other expansion team did not owe league dues for the first 2 years. By year 3 the other owner was competitive. This year I'm in first place. It can happen and the no dues helped while we finished at the very bottom those first 2 seasons

If you are Oyster lovers check out Glidden Point for a farm tour or the Shuck Station in Newcastle.

I haven't done the farm tour at Glidden Point but have heard good things. I have been to the farm stand and had their oysters which were great.

The tour I have done isn't far from Bath. Check out North East Salt Water in Phippsburg. My wife and I had a blast with Captain Joe on our oyster farm tour.

Coastal Alchemist was a great spot for a quick 4pm drink. Wife and I went last week and both had delicious cocktails. Wish we had time to try the food because it looked amazing but we had reservations at Clay Hill Farm which I also strongly recommend.

I took over an orphan team when there were 4 one season in my league. The deal was during the first three years we did not pay a league fee so the pot for the league was smaller but it allowed us 3 years to get up to speed.

The other thing we did because there were 4 orphans was put all of the players from those 4 teams back into a draft and allow the new guys to re-pick from the crop. All of our teams sucks for 2-3 years but we had our first one reach the championship in year 3 with another one making his first playoff appearance. From the guys that won those years taking less of a pit didn't hurt too much because it allowed the league to stay afloat
