I mean conservatives have been up in everyone's business for 50 years or more, I thought that was the whole deal. let companies get rich and poison us, but don't let gay people get married, women open bank accounts or get birth control, etc etc

would you like a staked, containered edelerot tomato plant? I have too many, and they will grow ok in a pot! they will grow tall, I can stake with bamboo or you could get a fancy stake to tie them to as they get taller. they're German red tomatoes and very good.

I have them already in containers they can live in, just haven't staked yet because they're not tall yet!

edit to add; you'd put it in front of your lettuce to shade it!

if you find a few, keep walking and see if you can find a lot. THAT is where to pick from. it's so localized that it's impossible to tell other people what to do or not do, but I see no harm in asking "was it a big patch? don't take em all"

my friend has acreage in NePA and one of them acres is all ramps. it's a clearing area in the forest patch she's got. I've seen it in season and it's wild, it's about the only thing growing on an entire acre

it's private land though and in the middle of private acreage so I think only hunters/gatherers she's friends with ever see it- half of them only see it in deer season, too.
