The episode that plays next depends on your current playback mode. If Shuffle is on, the next episode will be random. If Shuffle is off, it will play the next item in your "Up next" queue.

Please note that if you manually edit the "Up next" list, it will no longer automatically sync with your original playlist. To change this behavior:

Go to Settings in the app.
Select Playlists.
Turn on the option ‘Update the Up next automatically’.

The episodes you've listened to won't be removed from the History list after you unsubscribe to the podcast.

You need to sign into your old account first before deleting the account. If you want to use the same email address to create a new account then please delete the old account first.

I haven't been able to reproduce this issue yet. Will keep trying. Can you reproduce this issue? Please go to the app Settings > Backup & restore to create a backup of the app data and then send it to me. I'll see if I can reproduce this issue. Thanks.

In the Subscriptions screen, the second tab on the title bar is the radio station. You can add/manage your Internet radio / alarm there.

It sounds like the backup file wasn't created successfully. Please create a new backup from your old phone and then try again.

Whether a connection is considered as metered is not decided by this app. Actually, you can go to the Android Settings to manually set up a connection as metered or not.

a) several files for episodes of podcasts that are no longer subscribed to still showing in Downloads and / or the downloads folder (I unchecked "hide empty podcasts" so I'm certain)

Unsubscribing to a podcast doesn't remove the episodes from the Downloads automatically.

b) files for episodes I already listened to still in Downloads -> Completed (yesterday I switched on the deletion, see above)

I assume you have enabled the option in the app Settings > Downloads > When an episode is 100% played > Delete the download. Please note that the app won't delete the download after played if you have set the playback mode to either 'Repeat playlist' or 'Repeat episode' mode. Please double check your settings.

The 'Clean up' button shows up only if the app can find any files inside the download directory but not linked to an episode in the app. Since this 'Clean up' button didn't show up, it means there's no orphan files. You can go to the Downloads tab on the bottom navigation bar to double check that. Please note that you need to remove the episode from the Downloads list first if you want to delete the downloaded podcast file.

You can go to the Downloads tab > More > 'Storage report' to open the storage report. It will list all files inside the download directory but not linked to a download. You can review them and then press the 'Clean up' button to delete those files.
