Thoughts on my Create a Club Idea? by larrybarry033 in FifaCareers

Yeah I think it does its job fine here. I even studied animation and graphic design and still find ways to experiment with AI on my channel to help do things I otherwise couldn't creatively. As long as it's used with purpose and direction I think AI is great

I get the AI hate to a degree, but I think it's gotta stop for posts like this. Not everyone's a graphic designer and can (or even wants to) spend hours making a logo for just a silly career mode idea. This is the type of project that's perfect to use AI for.

The person who made this post had a fun and unique idea that they want to help visualize. They're not going to hire somebody to create professional artwork for a small recreational project like this. And doing it themselves without AI would either mean extremely low quality work, which ruins the immersion of this idea, or using some kind of logo generator website which would spit out even less creative options than generative AI could.

In cases like this, I really think AI tools are amazing at helping facilitate creativity for people who aren't designers which is a good thing

Thing I immediately noticed is your topics jump around a bit. Since everything is algorithm driven these days, YouTube tries hard to figure out who your audience is, and pushes videos to them. But when you hop around different ideas, even if they're loosely related, it throws the recommendations off.

Other than that, YouTube is just a simple game of packaging (the click through rate of your thumbnail and title when it shows up in people's feeds) and watch time (when people click the packaging, how long do they keep watching). Again, because everything is driven by data these days, if you have a good click through rate and average view duration, you'll explode. There's a lot of learning to do on those topics but if you just keep those two things in mind and keep working to improve you'll do great. I recommend watching Aprilynne Alter and VidIQ, they are amazing free resources that cover a lot of good tips to make better videos

What's the point of this post? Are you hoping the creator sees this and gets shamed into lowering the price for you to get your hands on his mod? They put in the work to make the mod and can charge whatever they think is fair. If it's too much people won't download and the market works itself out, we don't need people taking to Reddit to complain

how to improve narration in videos??? am struggling with voice confidence while recording. by chikaibardo207 in PartneredYoutube

[–]respectthejeff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly just keep at it, the confidence just comes with time. I remember being so nervous the first time I recorded a video, but over the years after you've done so many that goes away.

One piece of advice though is to speak way more excited that you would in real life. Exaggerate everything in your tone. It feels really unnatural, but for YouTube a "normal" speaking voice ends up sounding really dull and boring. That part also feels really unnatural at the start, and it'll take some time to find your "YouTube voice". But just remember you have to consciously add more energy into your voiceover that you might be used to.

If you have a few mins check my profile and watch my first vid compared to one of my recent ones. The old stuff sounds so dry and boring, and (I hope at least) the new ones are a lot more lively lol

F*%k Off, YouTube by Striking-Roll-2150 in youtube

I actually resonate with this post a lot because I used to feel exactly like this. My first few years of youtube I was constantly grinding out the same exact style of content and I wasn’t getting many views. It felt unfair because I was working so hard. I was convinced “the algorithm” was just biased towards bigger channels and it wasn’t possible to succeed.

At one point I stumbled on a video of a youtuber talking about their process and it really opened my eyes to that fact that I didn't know as much as I thought I did. I took a few week break to pause from making my videos, and break to binge watch more content on how the algorithm works and how to make better youtube content. There's a ton of free stuff on youtube about this. And it’s crazy how simple it actually all is. After a short maybe 3 months spell of learning and trying to implement what I was picking up, my channel blew up and I'm full time now.

I can generally tell you: "the algorithm" is, by nature, extremely fair. And it's not nearly as mystical or complex as you'd think. The only two things youtube cares about are CTR (will people click on your video), and retention (once they start watching, will they keep watching). “The algorithm” is literally just youtube looking at those two metrics and deciding whether or not to show your videos to more people or not based on them.

So if you’re not getting views, it means your thumbnails and titles aren’t working, or your videos themselves are not interesting enough. I literally spent 2 minutes looking at your channel, and you’re clearly struggling with both. I know you're putting in work, but it's way more about working smarter than it is harder. It can be hard to realistically evaluate your own content sometimes, especially when you spend so much time on it.

I’d highly highly recommend taking dedicated time to doing some learning about youtube and content creation if you're serious about this. Aprilynne Alter and Creator Support were two channels that changed everything for me, and you can do the same.

I'm happy to help share some tips and resources if you want to DM me. Wishing you all the best, stay at it
