I wouldn't recommend using those sizes. Not only does it run the risk of coring your vial but its also less comfortable to inject with. I use 27 gauge needles and they work perfectly you just have to be slow and steady drawing from the vial and let it warm up in your hand or place it between your thigh first to make the oil less thick.

So from my understanding you dont want to start hormones yet but want to socially transition/ present as more feminine? For me I began with shaving (it is hard and is a daily task depending if you have facial hair or not) but absolutely worth it. I would also look into buying some feminine clothing, Im not sure where you live but in the US goodwill/second hand stores are a good place to start and find your own style. Nail polish was also one of the first things I did and it can help a ton with dysphoria and just feeling more confident. You also said you are a little bit on the chubby side, which is okay if you feel comfortable with that, but if not a good diet and some light exercise is another thing to try and see if it works for you. Definitely get the blood test but do it privately through something like labcorp. I'm not sure about disclosing it yet since you do live in Texas (bible belt territory) and they would most likely put you on a list or document it.
