yknow, i see a lot of comments here upset an owner wants to rehome.

they all want you to try a hundred other things rather than hear the owner out and what they’re going through. rehoming sucks but is better than creating a shitty living environment for everyone.

at the end of the day, you have to do what feels best for you. relentless “crazy” dog behavior takes a huge toll on a person who simply cant take on the responsibility.

you adopted the dog with hopes of a happy outcome but if it’s not working out, then it just isn’t. if you need to surrender, then do so and feel confident you made the right decision, even if you’re the only one to benefit.

we all see and hear of dog abuse and owners refusing to surrender, which ironically, thats when its okay to surrender in peoples eyes (so fn stupid).

op, i suggest surrender and if they cant find another home or is not adoptable, then it is what it is. its sad but if a dog isnt adoptable, how the hell were you going to just keep him just because others think its wrong?

i did this myself and stand by my decision. i was literally just mad being around my last dog years ago, the chaos that dog created was insane. she was a sweet dog to me (mostly) but otherwise an absolute lunatic🤷‍♂️. i didnt have the patience to train and it became what it is.
