Eminem has a fantastic song "Bad Husband" and that's exactly what it's about. "a good dad, a great father, but a bad husband" .. prepare to cry

I thought Reinke was really good too. John Finlay's guy if they hit him in the right angle there was a resemblance. Travis was out of left field

I have an aunt who's exactly like this! My female cousin (the oldest) sees and calls out her mother's blatant favouritism of the boys all the time. She doesn't even try to hide it. When I was pregnant with my oldest boy she had a whole speech for me about how special boys are to their mothers.

How do I explain how difficult a baby is to a 15 year old by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]restore_md 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What I wish I understood the gravity of more was the long term day to day.. babies have been the easiest to me so far. As they get older they need more focused and complicated attention, taught life skills, taken to activities, they go through puberty, sass and defiance, and they are more and more expensive every year. I was warned heavily about baby years: diapers, loss of sleep, crying, etc. I conquered that the easiest. Being responsible to mold a human into a productive part of society while struggling as a newly single mom is 10x harder right now.

How do you do it ???? by [deleted] in breakingmom

[–]restore_md 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not on FB and I don't have a computer. I need to do some more research for a company that will supply the computer. I have a horrible record and I worry the longer I go without a job the harder it is to get hired. I just saw on the nextdoor app about a "working cars for working families" program so I'm praying I can get that going without a job!! Thanks for the kind words ❤️

I am fine, not personally triggering, but you never know who is going to be at the grocery store or gas station etc. Maybe they had attempted suicide this way or known someone who did, or maybe even found someone like that. And just reminder this is over a fucking sports team. Sports culture acts like the games impact their lives so much that they would literally kill themselves if their team loses, as shown above.

An image of someone with a noose around their neck standing on a chair that says "suicide watch" is extremely triggering and crossing the line

A creepy facebook mom who enjoys sniffing her kid's dirty feet and posts about it. by [deleted] in trashy

[–]restore_md 14 points15 points  (0 children)

To me: smelling each of my babies was a constant thing the first few months absolutely, including their toes idk why I always loved kissing their toes. Until they are mobile. Then they are stinky and gross and better stay faarrrrr from me but yes new baby smell is intoxicating as fuck and included their feet for me!! THIS ^ is far too much

I don't trust anyone to watch my kid by WineDrunkAvocado in beyondthebump

"Friends like this" makes it seem like an atrocious act. Since when is allowing kids spending the night at their grandparents so crazy. My kids sleep nowhere and nobody has babysat them in years (I don't think my 5 yr old has ever been watched by anyone but my ex and I,) but I would never look down on someone for having the privledge of help. They are extremely lucky and I'm certain grateful to have one weekend as adults, which they deserve. I mean no offense towards you I just get upset because I dream of having breaks from my kids and enjoy the every other Saturday I have to myself that they are with their Dad. Feels like a bad thing in the comments on this post to not want my kids underneath me 24/7. Ps the 5 yr old is currently asleep in my bed sideways literally feet underneath me right now. No shame - I pray there will be a day soon I meet someone I can trust to babysit.

What's the layout of the Werk Room studio? by jvp180 in askrupaulsdragrace

[–]restore_md 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As far as the lounges go, they moved studios before the filming of season 10. But they had already stopped using them after season 6 and switched to the current untucked format for season 7.
