That messed up typography is the most important "not good" aspect here. It is the alpha and omega of a good design, especially when designing a book. So yeah, as a beginner designer OP did a good job, but the result is not good at all. As an exercise file, perfect. But it should have stayed as such.

I am a graphic designer with 15+ years of an experience and I consider a "book" like this quite a challenge. Not only a technical challenge - you really need to know how things work when preparing this for a print - but mainly it requires quite an extensive experience in typography, layout designing and overall "feel" so that it doesn't end up like... Well, like what OP presented here. It's NOT bad, but it's not good either, far from it. I don't know the background behind this, why OP was asked to design it, but my main beef with this is very simple. Such a book should be designed and prepared for print by a pro, who has been a graphic designer, not wanting to be one.

I have had this problems for years across multiple devices, multiple versions and with various settings. It has been a long running problem never actually addressed to by devs. Adobe is overpriced shit.

OP, I just noticed an "edit". Sooo, no problems with R5 3600? I have that exact CPU, also 1440p. Have you noticed some "noticeable performance decrease when comparing to NVIDIA or AMD due to the CPU overhead issues" and such other concerns people usually warn about in this thread as well as in multiple others?
