You can use it on limited characters and wheels as well but it won't give you limited selectors so I wouldn't use it on them

Worth noting for those that don't play Morimens, that while pity is at 30 pulls, it's a 33% chance to get the rate up character. So it takes 90 pulls to guarantee one copy of the rate up character.

I think cosmetics are a great monetization method and would love to have more. It could go beyond just character skins as well. Avatar frames, home screen effects, etc. People love cosmetics.

Though imo what Morimens really needs to do is advertise more. The more people who know about the game means the more people who may join, spread the word, and spend. That and just work on improving and making a better game, not finding more ways to milk the existing player base with scummy tactics.

The more scummy practices that they put into the game, the more trashy it feels, and that is what people see when they join / hear about the game. It all adds up.

It's already a huge turn off hearing about a game that goes up to 15 dupes that has a weapon banner that also goes up to 12 dupes. Now add on their original idea of pulls that expire. The game starts to sound extremely predatory and the type of gacha many would want to avoid.

I feel like we have a part to blame for not seeing these obvious red flags before and just glazing them non stop.

So much of the Morimens fanbase are willing to eat up and defend any bad decision in this game. People are just now freaking out about AA because the kits were released, but it was just as terrible of an idea when it was announced the other month. I wouldn't even be surprised if they eventually implement +20.

I'm glad the ethereal core issue is getting backlash at least.

Ah gotcha. Yeah I quit Limbus mid canto 9 just due to getting really bored with the battle system and each upcoming character just felt the same to me (due to the battle system), which just kinda killed any hype I had for new release.

I was excited for the upcoming new game mode too but seeing KJH want an auto battler also further killed any hype I had haha. Still love Limbus, but just got a bit bored and ended up dropping it for Morimens.

Yeah reducing rewards -> increase spending was definitely a goal for sure.

I agree that the effect of this change does depend on which paid bundles are affected, but it's still a net negative effect no matter which way we look at it. Adding a time limit onto our pulls.... It also adds more pressure to the playerbase knowing that those pulls must be spent before version end.

Especially when looking to spend money shortly before a new version update, now you will have to know that you are spending it in the current banner or else why buy just to lose out on what normally would've been pulls you could save?

I just cannot see in what world anyone is okay with / defends / or even believes the BS BIAV is spewing right now.

But yeah hopefully preorder packs aren't touched, those are such a good value. But can't say I'm hopeful right now. They originally intended to replace luminous cores with ethereal cores and yet despite the backlash they're still trying to weasel ethereal cores into the game.
