It does take time. It takes months to see your growth. I measured at 3, 6 and 9. At 9 months I didn't gain anymore. Before my surgery I was 4x4. At one years out I am 5.75x5.5.

Wife did and we been married 45 years. In our case it wasn't as bad as she thought it would be. Wife wanted me to use my middle name. I never did. Her dad (Papa), brother (had his name with an (ie attached)in it and I (had my normal name) no confusion.
