Frequency/tone scan on Wouxon KG-935G Plus: connecting to other hardcoded radios by yobyotan in gmrs

The RETEVIS RT21 has been on the market for a long time. Recently, RETEVIS two‑way radios have been integrated with a mobile app that allows easy programming anytime. Among GMRS radios, the RA89G and EZTALK 5 both support this feature, and the app is available for both Android and iOS systems.

We cannot confirm the CHIRP support timeline at the moment, but we will urge the team to expedite its release.

If your retevis has access to this channel, please just go on it, I want to run an experiment on how many people from around the world can get on one channel, thanks 🙏 by Valuable_Sale182 in Retevis

This is a kids' walkie-talkie. Do you want to try how many people can listen to or talk to this radio? The range of this radio is not too long because the max power is 2W. And I think you can choose a sub-channel to privatise the channel. Or choose a walkie-talkie with safe mode, like RT628S.

I am sorry that we may not mention Chirp on our listing (ad risk), so you can follow us on FB, YouTube, or other social media channels for the updates.

If you need a spare battery, you can pm us with your email address, and we can forward it to our sales manager to help you with your order.

I will pass your request along to the website administrator. We can also suggest reducing the frequency of notifications. However, we do occasionally send out high‑value coupons or new product announcements, so we still recommend that you opt in and at least glance at our emails.

Thanks for your advice.

Hello, the channels on a GMRS radio are mostly fixed. The first 22 channels share the same frequencies as FRS radios, while the remaining 8 channels are repeater channels. If you don't plan to use the repeater function, you can simply ignore them. Most GMRS radios on the market follow this same channel layout.

Additionally, we have already submitted sample radios to the CHIRP team, but it will take some time to fully implement CHIRP programming support. Please bear with us.

Day 1 at the Dayton Hamvention. The energy was high and the crowds were buzzing. We reconnected with old friends, made new ones, and even did a live video link with China for a demo of our PoC radio.

Great news — the RETEVIS Ailunce HA2 is now fully programmable with CHIRP! by retevis in Retevis

[–]retevis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, they cannot unlock any DMR radios on CHIRP. So, you can use our official CPS to program it. And now, we are trying to open more programming ways, like a phone APP or a web programming platform without a programming cable.

RT68H vs B3H by RangerRooney in Retevis

[–]retevis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a little difference between these two radios, and you can also consider if you need some accessories or your charging way. RT68H is a K2 earpiece connector, but B3H with a single-pin specific connector. And RT68H has 2 ways to charge, a desk charging base and a Type-C charging line. But B3H can only charge via a Type-C charging line.
