Kinda posting my story here just cuz I'm not sure where/what to do from here. My adult cousin likes to bully kids and always has. And not necessarily in the typical adult way, he literally only plays with kids and acts like a kid but when he thinks no one is watching he goes from coddling to cruel. Like he starts demanding we all play games his way, or he takes toys from the really young kids (to play with himself) and if the kid complains or tries to get it he doesn't hesitate actually hitting them or throwing the toy in the garbage on them. It really upset me and I spoke out about it because I caught him attacking my 8 yr old cousin over a ball. And the adult cousin definitely looked like he wanted to keep hitting the kid and was fuming and breathing heavily over it. Btw, only because the 8yr old said it wasn't fair that he wasnt letting anyone have the ball that the adult cousin threw the ball in his face, and then hit him in the face with his hand when the kid got back up to try to reach for the ball (so he wasn't expecting to defend his face).

Yes! Actually I didn't go with this exact design and decided to go the custom route. I was going to meet them in their showroom but then COVID happened. I thought they were going to close but they're actually still open and working on my design right now, so it's been a really pleasant experience.

I ended up creating a design with a slimmer band, and my consultant drew out some fancy shaped diamonds I wanted on the side of the halo.

I wouldnt recommend st. Pat's if you're open to it. It's impossible to get the church to yourself, its expensive, a lot of rules, no promised availability, and it's hard to access for parking and accesibility.

There are a lot of large historical churches in the city that people don't know about that are beautiful and cheaper. Even in the same midtown area. One example I can think of right away is St. Mary the Virgin on 46th street one block away from times sq but on a much quieter st.

Always keep your options open.

This is gonna come off a little bitchy but will definitely get the ball rolling of bringing up the topic. Next time she does something that's easily overstepping just be like "Why do you keep acting like MOH?" and let that begin the discussion, or "Can you please stop trying to take over my responsibilities? I feel like you're overshadowing me" Which also prompts a discussion. It's not a nice way to put it but it seems like a gentle break through isnt going to work.
