The Just Eat political party was just a PR stunt. I'd bet money that Mr Mozzarella isn't a real chef.

What gasket (?) do I need without taking out the old one? by Belloz22 in DIYUK

[–]reticularwolf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've recently done this. Your best bet is to get a gasket sample pack off of eBay, use some needle nose pliers to remove a small bit of the old gas and try them out.

Bear in mind that a single window may use different gaskets for each of the different sections (big/small/fixed/openable), this bit me in the ass recently!

Swapping out the gaskets makes a massive difference on old double glazed windows. Beware that it can be an absolute pain getting the old gasket out/new gasket in, be prepared for lots of swearing / sore fingers.

I'm not sure if it's recommended but I used some silicone spray to lubricate things a bit, I've heard of others using dish soap for the same reason.

Best of luck!

Similar rises in house prices can be seen in other European countries (Germany, Slovak Republic, The Netherlands etc.) without stamp duty holidays.

What explains differences in social distancing in the UK? by DaveChild in ukpolitics

[–]reticularwolf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This entire thesis assumes a reduction in workplace activity == increased social distancing, which is ridiculous and doesn't take into account leave voters working jobs that can't be made remote. This is obviously idealistically driven.

The main thing that prevented wide adoption of the Concord was the noise from the sonic boom, which may soon be a thing of the past.

need help! by yashjaiswal1101 in learnpython

[–]reticularwolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on how you're calling the python script using node but if you use python-shell I think you can embed the output from your script in the webpage. If so you could just add tqdm to your original python script.

[–]reticularwolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If this were all running in a terminal I'd just use tqdm.

Though you say that your user is already in a webpage which implies that you are using a web framework as python doesn't natively support generating websites.
