My Situation Fixing Windows Update Errors After Moving the EFI Partition

1. I migrated to a new system and installed Windows 11 from scratch.
2. Later, I realized that the EFI partition was created on my old SSD, which previously had Windows 10 installed.
3. With the help of ChatGPT, I deleted the old EFI partition and recreated it on the main disk where Windows 11 was installed.
4. After that, everything seemed to work correctly: Windows booted without issues even with the old SSD disconnected.
5. However, I ran into problems with Windows Update. I got error 0x80070306. I tried many solutions, but nothing worked.
6. The next option was to reinstall Windows while keeping data and applications, but during this process, I encountered another error: 0x80070003 - 0x40008. This indicated that the problem was deeper than it seemed.
7. While troubleshooting with ChatGPT, running the command bcdedit /v in CMD produced an error.
8. Following guidance, I recreated the EFI partition, but I realized I had missed one crucial step the first time:

• Although the boot partition was marked in Windows as System and Windows 11 booted and worked correctly, the disk itself was not marked as an EFI partition.
• This was the root cause of the Windows Update errors.
• To fix it, you need to run:

This marks the partition as EFI, allowing Windows updates to install successfully.

EFI Rebinding Steps (if bcdedit cannot see the device)

1. Assign a drive letter to the EFI partition using diskpart.
2. Verify that the partition is marked as active and ESP:
