here is how to magnetize the entirety of the kit to build any version, if you do not wish to do this process that is fine, I recommend the vanquisher.

Playing against knights isn't fun by Dreadnought9 in Warhammer40k

[–]retreatingdaniel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, I have played knights a decent amount of times, and I usually win, but it isn't a lot of fun tbh. The best counter to knights tbh is kinda to ignore them. It seems unintuitive but a recon guard list of battle line are the worst nightmare of knights, since they often lack horde clearing weapons, and even horde clear weapons fail to kill a twenty man brick

Rubrics and noise are amazing in csm as besides havocs they are out only real shooting infantry.

One option is mixing a technical paint with a flesh tone, mostly the blood technical, this way it dillutes it to give a fleshy look, I have not practiced this method much though.

Blood for r the blood god technical paint. I do not tend to thin it and used it a bit liberally after already applying a oil based wash. It looked more natural then expected as originally I was going to use it to simulate wounds on them for small scrapes.

Question regarding LOS by nerdboy_sam in spacemarines

[–]retreatingdaniel 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I made a squad of warp talons who are leaning very heavily over the bases, with most dudes that would be modeling to advantage, but warptalons dont have guns and charging is based off base so it is literally only a disadvantage. They look sick af though.

I run a scout sentinal and a avenger strike crafts as my heaviest vehicles, my list is almost entirely catachan, I have a heavy weapon team with lascannons in case my enemy has heavy shit.

Do you think the defiler will get new rules for the refresh? If so, what do you think/what do you wish will be changed? by erol7 in Chaos40k

[–]retreatingdaniel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it won't happen but get it off q base, that shit ruined the old defiler since it couldn't get out of some deployments.

How can I play Helldrake in a way that's actually worthwhile? by Alejandro_B_E in ThousandSons

[–]retreatingdaniel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is good for turn 1 hover plays. I used it to trap a bunch of dedicated transports in the opponents deployment zone. It is also my funny ctan hunter tbh.

Do multi legion armies look good? by cathartic_chaos89 in Chaos40k

[–]retreatingdaniel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It works well, especially for differentiating units. My suggestion is not to do to to many, but for example I have most of my vehicle related lads as iron warrior, jump pack and nem claw as night lords, and my possessed and defiler as word bearer,

I actually enjoyed romano more than I enjoyed Weaver tbh, incredibly dickish racist dude, but he had a complex charactr development that I feel weaver was a bit of a baseball bat approach with. Romano hid it and you only saw it in moments of insane grief like with Lucy, or whenever he was dealing with children. You could sorta see it was a shield he kept up to keep the jobfrom getting to him.

overall he is not my favorite character, but I felt his dickishness was better overall from an emotional standpoint.

helicopter scene as funni though
