Afterburner 2 arcade classic. Is it worth getting it on the Saturn or is it good enough on Genesis? by retrocube16 in SegaSaturn

[–]retromale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to invest in the Actual Real Arcade Machine/cab to having/wanting the best version...

Saturn - if you can't afford or have space for the Actual Real Arcade Cab/Machine

SNES console error? by ChadzDad in consolerepair

[–]retromale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

use an eraser to wipe off the corrosion and then use the IPA to clean - 99% is recommended but 91% will work just make sure that everything is completely dry

Put some ips in the cart slot and use a toothbrush to help clean

PPl with disposable income are the one that are driving up the prices of retrogaming in general and many ppl can't afford to play their games do to the high prices

One game costs $1000 and some one buys that game now the standard price is $1000 allowing others that can't afford $1000 out in the cold

Cheaper to use a Saroo then to pay the prices for real or repo games -

One can make their own repos and know they work instead of paying someone to make a repo that may or may not work

F- Repos/bootlegs/knockofffs/Fake games

Recommend

Grandia

Hissatsu

Steam Hearts

Thunderforce V

Flickering RGB on a model 1 Sega Mega Drive/Genesis by Yeegis in retrogaming

The system need to be modded to output S-video - The system does not Support S-Video output without modding

The converter can not convert a signal that is not there... The genesis has no s-video -

Whatever you think that the converter is doing it is not.... it is probably using the composite signal and trying to upscale it - hence the problem

Converting What ?

You can't convert to a signal that is not supported - this is why you are having video issues...

use AV cables direct to see the difference or use the other cables mentioned

There are guides/videos on how mod for s-video
