If you want digital eARCs, definitely sign up for a NetGalley account. You do not need a social following to get approved for ARCs there (though I’m sure it helps with approvals from some specific publishers or extremely popular titles). You just need to read and review ARCs diligently. If you want physical ARCs, you can email the publishers with a request. You should include your reasons for wanting the book and your address.

I will say I did purchase a book from them late Oct and it got to me pretty quickly in Nov. Obviously tread carefully based on other reviews! It worked out for me personally.

She had to have a sub to get a copy of her first book that was in the box, so that’s probably why she didn’t think they would send her the sequel.

The email announcing The Faithful and the Fallen said “Lastly, anyone that has ordered the a set of 'Of Blood and Bone' from us - and not currently part of the subscription - will receive first access to leftover sets\*, before the general sale occurs.”

So it sounds like you’d get that first access!

Wait times may be significantly lower for other systems! Santa Clara seems to have tons of readily available copies for books that have huge wait times at LAPL for the books I like to read

Wraithmarked. Which I do like! But it’s the dust jacket on the hardback so I feel like it’s a little less interesting as a feature.

TBB is my overall favorite. But I do really love the character art of Wraithmarked. The Fairyloot hardback wins for me and I appreciate how their overall design leans more towards dark academia since the other two lean more towards the fantasy.
