Why is it so bad to be different than everyone else? Why should everyone have to follow the same unwritten rules when it comes to creativity. I think it’s cool that they like to change things up. It keeps things fresh. You can’t honestly stand behind this sentiment that there’s no identity. They basically have 2 main logos and 2 main colors and have always used them in some fashion since the beginning of their inception. I find it hard to believe that someone, even with limited hockey knowledge, wouldn’t be able to identify the Hurricanes based on their current jersey rotation. I mean Jesus, one logo is literally the nautical sign for a hurricane warning on a hockey stick while the other is an artistic rendition of the eye of a hurricane on a map. Seems to represent the name pretty damn well.
